Budweiser’s Awesome Cubs World Series Ad
“Sure as God made green apples, someday, the Chicago Cubs are going to be in the World Series.”
Budweiser pieces together one heckuva an ad overnight.
Narrated by legendary announcer Harry Caray, you don’t have to be a Cubs fan to love this one.

I am not a Cubs fan, but tears welled up. I am happy for the team and the city. They could use some goodness.
A few months ago, in a comment somewhere, I referred to Cubs fans as “poor, deluded fools.”
Cubs fans, I apologize.
Chicago is a city currently suffering under a huge murder rate. Most cities experience violent riots after winning a tournament. I have heard of nothing untold happening in Chicago after their victory.
Maybe baseball is the true American pastime.
Congratulations, Cub fans!
Now THAT is one classy bit of advertising. Budweiser gets an “A” for this one. The Cubs? I can’t necessarily say I can now depart this life in peace, although it’s fairly close. About the only thing that could top it at this point is a Trump victory!
