DNC Fires Three Top Officials

DNC Fires Three Top Officials

In today’s edition of “Democrats in Disarray”

It was bound to happen. Massive data breech, emails that sure do look like the DNC favored Hillary over Bernie, astronomical debt, a contentious, unified convention — someone was going to lose their job.

Prior to the Democratic National Convention, Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz resigned in disgrace after Wikileaks posted more than 19,000 hacked DNC emails. Post-convention, even more heads are rolling.

The DNC’s Chief Executive and two other top officials resigned today.

The AP reports:

The chief executive of the Democratic National Committee and two other top officials have resigned in the wake of an email hack that embarrassed the party on the eve of its presidential nominating convention.

CEO Amy Dacey, chief finance officer Brad Marshall and communications director Luis Miranda left their jobs on Tuesday, the party said in a statement.

The resignations are the latest fallout from the hacked emails, which exposed an apparent lack of neutrality in the primary race between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, with some party officials disparaging Sanders.

Marshall wrote the most explosive email, questioning Sanders’ Jewish faith and suggesting he could be portrayed as an atheist. He has apologized for the missive.

Earlier, party chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned her position and, after being booed at a pre-convention appearance last week in Philadelphia, chose not to speak from the convention stage.

Longtime Democratic operative Donna Brazile is serving as the party’s interim chair. Brazile said Tuesday that she has created a “transition team” to help prepare the party for its post-election mission. She said Tom McMahon, a former DNC executive director under then-Chair Howard Dean, will lead that group.

Clinton operatives who moved over to party headquarters after she had effectively secured the nomination in June will continue in their roles; that group includes DNC chief of staff Brandon Davis. Additionally, veteran Democratic strategist Doug Thornell will serve as an interim senior adviser to the party.

Dacey already has a new job. She has been hired by Squared Communications, a Democratic consulting firm based in Washington.

“As one of the top campaign strategists in our party, and with our experiences together on presidential, Senate and congressional campaigns, Amy will help our firm’s clients navigate this and future election cycles,” Michael Meehan, founder and CEO Squared Communications, said in a statement.

The cost of war and expendable…they delivered the only result desired…..

they’ll be well-rewarded with a cushy job at the Clinton Criminal Enterprise™ or a “Think Tank”

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’…keep them heads ‘a rollin’!

I was puzzled why Obama chose today to make his “Trump is unfit” speech. This explains it. Prestidigitation as it used to be called. Keep ’em dazzled by the left hand while the right hand stages the trick.

I’m sure glad the RNC didn’t favor one candidate over another /sarc

There will be more dumpster divers headed out the door in the next few weeks. That will happen when WikiLeaks does another massive dump.

Dumpster diving gets a whole new imagery!

Turkey is purging the unbelievers in order for the supreme leader to take control.

So is the DNC.

Geez, does anybody on either side know how to run a Presidential campaign?

They’re gonna to run out of feet to shoot.

In related news. Rabid RAT and NeverTrumper Huelskamp lost his primary today. Just more fallout.

Ragspierre in reply to RodFC. | August 2, 2016 at 11:33 pm

There’s nothing “related”, but you’re too stupid or dishonest to now it.

And it isn’t ‘fallout’. It’s the T-rumpian Scouring of all things Conservative and insurgent.

    Don’t worry though. It’ll turn.

You beat me to it Rod.
So the question remains. Where was Canadian Cruz? Did he campaign for Foolschump & thereby ensure his loss?
Or did he yet again let Timmy go down in flames alone?
Either way, C. C. is apparently the kiss of death.
And he doesn’t even have to show up to get-er-done!

Not only has every incumbent RINO been reelected in this “year of the outsider.” Not only has almost every open seat gone to the yes-men for K Street and GOP leadership. One of the few brave conservative incumbents in the House has just been defeated by a shill for the big government lobbyists who lied to voters and ran as a conservative. Thus, the only incumbent to be defeated this year was Tim Huelskamp, R-Ky. (A, 91%) in Kansas’s First District. You read that right: the only incumbent to go down in this glorious “populist” revolution is one of the fiercest fighters against this rigged political system.

While everyone is a big hero now and ridicules John Boehner as a failure, Huelskamp was literally the first member to stand up to him. Now the lobbyists know how to pick our lock and will pick off the few remaining members who dare to defy those in the party who want to do nothing more than play interference for Democrats.

And we KNOW that doublesucks is not a conservative, because he’s told us so.

What he IS is a malignant nutter and bitter failure. But he LUUUUUURRRRRRVES him some T-rump sucking…!!!

Me thinks Queer Pierre is displaying symptoms of the vapors.
Move back! give him room to breathe!
      Does anyone have smelling salts?

You’ve done nothing but dismiss & mock Paul Nehlen. And you’re so stupid you’re totally unaware of the disconnect.

Longtime Democratic operative Donna Brazile is serving as the party’s interim chair.

I wonder…..will she be the “moderator” at another debate this Fall? RNC, are you there, RNC? *deafening silence* *crickets*

I’ve pointed this out before on several occasions.
Conservatives are blaming Trump & his supporters for all the difficulties conservatism is now having. Yet Trump wasn’t even a factor in republican party politics until a year ago. Conservatism has held the floor as the “opposition” position against party regulars for my entire life. Since 2000 when I began to vote republican I’ve consistently voted for the more conservative option. As have most other Trump supporters. Yet even when we’d win, we’d lose. 2014 capped that reality off.

Reagan was elected by the entire country. He wasn’t the property of conservatives alone. Conservatives couldn’t have elected him by themselves.

Conservatism is the philosophy of losers. With conservatives as the vessel of opposition the countries consistently lost ground. Though they mostly oppose Trump they have the temerity to tell him what he must do to win. Even though he’s beaten all of them as they’ve lost.

And they continue in their wrong-headed way’s to this day.

That only makes sense to a conservative. Just as liberalism only makes sense to liberals.

Since when have Democrats cared about morals or public perception?

Maybe Der Donald has piled on the last straw. Maybe his people are more scrupled…or more worried…than the DNC.

Time will tell…

The above, by the Parrotmaster, is a case in point of what I’m saying. His flock eats it up. And have done so for some time.
Same old sunflower seeds for feed.

Looks like Donelle T-wamp (adolescent mean girl) and his “Mr. Switzerland” are having considerable friction over Donelle’s refusal to support Ryan and McAnus.

Poor Priebus. I coulda told him that you can’t count on Donelle to keep any bargain. ESPECIALLY when he/she feels someone has bruised his/her very, very delicate ego.

Watch that from the beginning. It’s about Brexit, but see how many of those “conservative” ideas are represented, and how well those have worked both in history and in the current world (i.e., Switzerland).

doublesucks and his little yellow god HATE small government and you expressing your choices in markets.

It’s crazy…

Q. P. Parrotmaster is firmly in the camp of Paul Ryan, Cory Gardner, Mike Lee along with the Koch’s & 400 other donors that just met at the Broadmoor as I’ve described. And now he comes out & trashes Brexit. A decisive victory for British sovereignty over the internationalist forces on display at the Broadmoor.

And Q. P. Parrotmaster asserts he champions small government & individual initiative. . .
I call bullskat!

More of your overt lies, and more of your inversion of what I said.

I can’t tell if the latter is just because you’re a nutter or if you can’t read.

Anyhow, my reference to Brexit…and the material in the video…is all about supporting conservative ideas and ideals, like market economics and small government, contra you and your little yellow god.

You neither address nor respond to the facts I lay out.
Instead you change the focus to assertions about conservatism that dwell on it’s theoretical underpinnings, not the reality of it’s implementation as represented by Paul Ryan.
Pretty lame even for you Ragskat, aka Q. P., aka Parrotmaster.

“You neither address nor respond to the facts I lay out.”

That’s because you are a nutter, and your “facts” are naked CRAZY assertions without the least support.

For instance, you can’t cite to a single time when I’ve attacked Ryan’s opponent. Can you, liar?

ALLLLLLLLLL I’ve done is refute the transparently bogus “poll” of a few weeks ago that had the race neck-and-neck.

Why would I DREAM of refuting your bullshit?

rabidfox in reply to secondwind. | August 3, 2016 at 12:06 pm

Paul “Let’s open up the southern border to the entire world so we can depress wages” Ryan is a conservative?! Who knew that conservatives supported cronyism.

You stated Paul Nehlen had no chance. You declared Ryan would win in a walk. Sounds pretty much to me you’ve written Paul Nehlen off. Did you send him any of your pile you’ve bragged about?

You’re Sideshow Bob on the Simpsons. You think you’re the smartest man in the room but you continually step on rakes.

2ndWind: Like what you’re doing, yet syntax can mean everything when replying on blogs structured like this one. Using the “Reply” button when actually replying works wonders in tying your response to “whom-so-every” you’re responding.

So, 2ndWind, when you’re on target, fire for effect; else, shots off range, hitting wind, mostly.

Your target needs to understand that between him and his alter ego, Miller’s Home, he’s working hard to destroy the very fine blog built by our host; as though Ragspierre gives a rip; poor fool probably knows his own blog would have zip readers, so he hijacks a great one.

    Oh, geeeeeez…!!!

How embarrassing for you T-rump sucking myrmidons. You didn’t get the memo.

Now you have to reverse positions to keep up with your little yellow god.

Don’t do yourself an injury. Ya morons…

Jeez, all those ever flowing stream of Ad hominems drooling down onto your raggedy ass clothes. Little wonder that your small teeny bit of brain cannot respond without resorting to your usual bitter, obscene, irrelevant invective. Rags, grow a pair and start your own blog, you and your buddy can shout verbally at each other; or, perhaps it will be a love fest of mutual admonishment.

To quote that well known old philosopher: “What a Maroon;” the phrase that describes Ragsalot perfectly!

Look, the sky is blue! Drum roll.

Ragspierre in reply to Doug Wright. | August 3, 2016 at 4:57 pm

Curious. When are you going to honor your promise to never communicate with my, now that my superior memory has come to your aid, you moron?

Your grammar is slipping, along with your addled mind, too much drool mixed with your personal invective and increased use of casual Ad hominem phrases; “communicate with my, now…” What? You “my” is what? Jeez, slow down, kluntz.

OBTW: When you came after me, you deserved this! Ragsalot Punk!
