The Story of the “Missing” Child… Missing Because He Was Aborted

The Story of the “Missing” Child… Missing Because He Was Aborted

The lasting emotional trauma of abortion

The pro-abortion movement loves to highlight stories of women who chose to end the life of their unborn child. They trot those out these women as those empowered into a new, bright future by their life-ending decision.

Never discussed is the lasting emotional trauma that follows abortion.

A video posted by LifeNews tells the story of a mother who turns around for just a moment, only to find her son “missing.”

Panicked, she immediately phones her husband.

Mom: “I can’t find him, he’s gone.”

Husband: “Who? What happened?”

M: “He was on the swing and I looked away for one second, and when I looked back he was gone.”

H: “Who?”

M: “Aaron, our son!”

H: “Honey, we don’t have a son.”

M: “What?”

H: “We decided not to have it.”

M: “That’s not possible.”

H: “We have this conversation every year. I’m sorry; I didn’t realize it was today.”

The video concludes with her never born son saying, “I love you, Mom. I forgive you.”

Damn…. That’s powerful stuff, right there.

Anti-lifers like to talk “empowerment”, “independence”, and “choice”. What they don’t say — what they can’t say — is that empowerment and independence have attendant responsibilities …

… and choices have consequences.

As a psychologist I have treated thousands of patients suffering from trauma, military veterans, police officers, violent crime victims and even Serbian victims of rape. All of these patients seem to have eventually reached a resolution to some degree. Women that have aborted their child has to be one of the most difficult traumas to process through, especially when dealing with the dates of the abortion or when the child would have been born.

Once, repent. Twice and more…

A haunting memory is evidence of a moral center. Never forget.

Yah, what is needed is a Chinese style regime where every womans fecundity is checked every 30 days, once she is able to bear children. She should have to PROVE to the local bureaucrat that she has her period. OR, if pregnant, then she will be monitored during pregnancy to ensure that the fetus receives only the BEST care. No drinking, smoking, watching porn, dis-believing in jesus, etc. Wow, that sounds like a CONSERVATIVE utopia. Or more likely a theocracy. Screw you. Go get a constitutional amendment that bans abortion. Start now. Let me know when it passes.

That’s one hell of a strawman argument you’ve got there, not to mention the caricatured view of conservatives.

That’s all they’ve got, the disgusting bigots. They truly are a repugnant, degenerate, amoral and, dare I say, irredeemable lot.

I’d like to see his face when he finds out that progressives have more often been Jim Jones moralist types than actual conservatives.

Aren’t you glad your Mom didn’t practice her “Right” on you?

Consider seeing a psychologist to help you overcome your numerous mental issues ~

It’s interesting that you believe we need a constitutional amendment that prevents one from deliberately killing a distinct individual human being.

Don’t feed the trolls, especially the stupid ones.

Perhaps you are thinking of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu? He, or his government, had “menses squads” because he wanted women to get pregnant. Something about socialist governments seems to cause the birth rates to decline. People lose hope.

As before, a constitutional amendment is not necessary. Having states declare life begins at conception, or once a detectable heartbeat is found, would be enough. What we really need to do is turn from a culture of death back to the God who created us and who loves us. Rest assured, Fiftycaltx, that even your wounds can be healed.

Fiftycaltx, I’m old enough to remember when Mao’s China was a must-do pilgrimage destination for progressives, and button with the fat old marmot was a must-have accessory on every college campus. If you dared suggest that Mao was a colonialist in Tibet, a “humanist” would break your glasses and your nose with them; and a progressive prof would drop you one letter grade.

In the early stages of its one-child policy, there were documentaries praising its implementation as necessary for the whole world’s well-being.

When I got to see the country back in the ’90’s, there were simmering revolts by ethnic minorities and every so often, an overly zealous health official would be “disappeared” by peasants.

I suppose it was the adulation of Marmot Mao that made me realize what wonderful liars and cheats progs are.

So many women are pigs now. No wonder our country is in the toilet.

I have witnessed this first hand with a few women. These emotions are real and no joke.
