Earlier this week, Trump said he would not attend Monday’s GOP presidential debate in Salt Lake City, Utah, hosted by Fox News. Kasich followed suit and Fox cancelled the debate.

It is so obvious that Trump does not want to be on the same stage as Cruz with most of the time going between the two of them. How many “Wonderful’s” and “Really greats” can we take in one night. Cruz would talk in policy terms and Trump would obfuscate and lie until the bell rang. Just read his tweets. They are at the third grade level! How can so many smart people be so bamboozled by this used car salesman?
How? Because they WANT to be chumped. And he’ll give it to them…good and hard.
I’m afraid that’s the truth. This is what bothers me the most. This makes me worry that many of our fellow citizens are essentially either rubes or willing enablers for an authoritarian figure.
