Of course: Israel haters disrupt Brussels Memorial site

Israeli flag at impromptu memorial site torn up, covered with Palestinian flag.

A makeshift memorial to the dead in Brussels has taken shape in recent days as people have left flowers, candles, flags and other items to mourn the loss of the victims.

Two recent incidents however have marred the memorial, both involving the flag of Israel.

Here’s the first, via the New York Post:

Woman in hijab rips up Israeli flag at Brussels memorial

Video emerged Thursday of a hijab-wearing woman tearing up an Israeli flag at a makeshift memorial for victims of the Brussels terror attacks.

French RTL television captured the disturbing images of the incident at the central Brussels landmark Place de la Bourse, The Jerusalem Post reported.

The woman is seen lifting a Palestinian flag and then ripping an Israeli flag to shreds.

She then hides the pieces under other flags and walks off.

Here’s the video:

In the second incident, a man walked into the memorial specifically to cover the Israeli flag with a Palestinian flag. The Daily Mail reported:

Another clip shows a man, wearing beige trousers, a black hooded jacket and gloves, walking into the middle of the candle-lit memorial.

He picks up a Palestinian flag and places it over the Israeli flag so it can no longer be seen.

Once again, there are many onlookers but although some people can be heard saying ‘no, no, no’, nobody takes action.

What a sad comment this is on the entire situation.

Vile monsters. Brussels is done unless it finds the will to deport the moslems and stop more from coming. Probably won’t happen. So my guess is that Brussels is finished.

There’s time to save some of Europe from which they can launch a Reconquista some years or century from now but the longer they wait the bloodier it will be.

I don’t disagree with your premise, but I seriously doubt that the Europeans have the stomach (or spine) for the job.

I agree. Which is why it will be a much bigger problem and much bloodier when it is decided either way. Plus, more of Europe will be lost.

It’s not blind hatred. It’s self-awareness. If Israelis are ( correctly) associated with victims of terrorism, then the Palestinian cause will have to be looked at in a deservedly unfavorable light. Hence the bugs have to make the Palestinians look like there with the victims you win as they are cheering the killers.

One of the reasons my wife and I just took a four day trip to Paris is the realization that if we wait any longer, it will no longer be French but rather an Arab country that speaks French.

I’m waiting for someone in the Belgian government to suggest that this violence was because of the settlements.

Placing a Palestinian flag in this memorial isn’t any different than placing an ISIS flag in the same place.
