Hillary: I donated outrageous university speaking fees to Clinton Foundation

Hillary: I donated outrageous university speaking fees to Clinton Foundation

The universities are still out the money, and many students still are dead broke.

We recently noted at College Insurrection that Hillary Clinton has made an awful lot of money by speaking at colleges and universities.

That news has caused some negative blow back for the presumptive Democratic nominee with some student groups even calling on her to return the money.

Liz Kreutz of ABC News is now reporting that Mrs. Clinton has donated all of that money. To her own family’s foundation, naturally:

Hillary Clinton Says She’s Donated All University Speaking Fees

Hillary Clinton continued to justify her high-dollar speaking fees on Friday, telling ABC News’ Ann Compton that all of the money she’s made from colleges over the past year and a half has been donated to her family’s foundation.

“All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation,” Clinton said when asked about the criticism she and her husband have faced recently for their wealth.

Hillary Clinton reportedly makes roughly $200,000 for each speaking engagement. And recent reports show that she has made much more from some of the country’s top universities.

This should come as a surprise to no one.

And may be the best sign she is planning to run for President. Cleaning up messes already.

What a crock! She “donated” the money to herself! How charitable especially when her daughter gets a mega salary from that “charity” and little money goes toward charitable works. It is nothing than a Hillary for POTUS money pot. The IRS should be targeting these faux charities instead tea party groups.

You are absolutely correct. The mendacity, immorality, and stupidality of this woman is beyond the pale.

No wonder she’s the progressive front runner for the presidential nomination.

I’ll ask the obvious. How much do the Clintons pay themselves out of their foundation? How did they accumulate their wealth (from dead broke to present)otherwise? And what do attendees of ANY pay-to-attend event get out of hearing a speech by Bill or Hillary?

Well, she did donate it to her favorite charity. (gag)

Nice. So the students are unwilling contributors to her “foundation” (campaign). If she gave a fig about the students, she wouldn’t charge anything to “enlighten” them with her great wisdom.

Are those high cheekbones?

She just got $251K to speak at UCONN, which is also burdening the students with a 6.5% tuition hike. Thank you president Herbst.

Translated from Clinton: I ‘donated’ my speaking fee to the company that I run so it doesn’t get counted as income, but I still get to determine just how it is used, such as to pay me a salary for existing.

donated money 2 myself, to be spent on hillary or billary, you’all are just unfair (LOL)

Exposing “The Clinton Foundation” will be the hole card if the old crone does run. It’s tax-exempt money laundering done large.

Funny, there’s no clarification on when this donation was made.
