It’s just a given that Hillary Clinton will get the Democratic nomination if she runs in 2016 but last week must be giving some Democrats second thoughts.
This editorial from Investor’s Business Daily outlines the problem:

But she certainly deserves blame for the fact that the only coverage she managed to get from her book tour was all bad.Even before her tour got started, reviewers — many of whom you’d expect to be cheerleading for Hillary — were instead viciously hammering her book, “Hard Choices.”Politico’s Mike Allen, for example, called it a “newsless snore” that will “fuel the notion that politics infuses every part of her life.” John Dickerson at Slate said it was “the low-salt, low-fat, low-calorie offering with vanilla pudding as the dessert.”From there her week went downhill.

If I Were a Democrat, I Would Be Worried About HillaryThe Democrats have a Hillary Clinton problem. She is, at the moment, their only plausible presidential contender for 2016. The clownish Joe Biden apparently is her chief rival, and when pressed to identify a possible new face, the only one the Dems can come up with is the Governor of Maryland, Martin O’Malley, whom hardly any voters have heard of. So the party has a great deal riding on Hillary’s supposedly powerhouse candidacy.

If nothing else, the last week has shown that Hillary Clinton is not as inevitable as some would have us believe.
