Breaking news: McCain goes all in.

General Dempsey hates the Israelis. And, he’s been in the business of “training” Palestinians for years and years. Currently, (While living in a bunker in Jordan), Dempsey has 3000 trained Jordanians to “throw at Assad.”) OR? They can throw themselves at the hashimite king? No love lost there.

Why should the hasimite king “luv” General Demspey?

Does Demspey command in English?

This whole setup has ‘disaster’ written all over its face.

Kerry’s always been a lying idiot. That hasn’t changed.

Yes, John Kerry’s past speaks to his present:

    http://www.wintersoldier.com/index.php?topic=Quotes

They told stories that at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.

We call this investigation the Winter Soldier Investigation.

    — John Kerry, testifying before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, April 22, 1971

The exact sources of that assertion should be tracked down. Kerry also ought to be asked who, exactly, told him any such thing, and what it was, exactly, that they said they did in Vietnam. Statutes of limitation now protect these individuals from prosecution for any such admissions. Or did Senator Kerry merely hear allegations of that sort as hearsay bandied about by members of antiwar groups (much of which has since been discredited)? To me, this assertion sounds exactly like the disinformation line that the Soviets were sowing worldwide throughout the Vietnam era. KGB priority number one at that time was to damage American power, judgment, and credibility. One of its favorite tools was the fabrication of such evidence as photographs and “news reports” about invented American war atrocities. These tales were purveyed in KGB-operated magazines that would then flack them to reputable news organizations. Often enough, they would be picked up. News organizations are notoriously sloppy about verifying their sources. All in all, it was amazingly easy for Soviet-bloc spy organizations to fake many such reports and spread them around the free world.

As a spy chief and a general in the former Soviet satellite of Romania, I produced the very same vitriol Kerry repeated to the U.S. Congress almost word for word and planted it in leftist movements throughout Europe. KGB chairman Yuri Andropov managed our anti-Vietnam War operation. He often bragged about having damaged the U.S. foreign-policy consensus, poisoned domestic debate in the U.S., and built a credibility gap between America and European public opinion through our disinformation operations. Vietnam was, he once told me, “our most significant success.”

    — Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking intelligence officer ever to defect from the Soviet bloc, in the National Review, February 26, 2004

John Kerry has a long history of demonizing people for self serving political purposes using the soap box of faux self righteousness.

Think of the children? They must be joking. That motivation is no a longer a credible lie. Not in Syria, America, or anywhere else.

Before Obama continues with yet another undeclared war (our involvement will not begin with the lobbied action), perhaps he should address his unfinished business in Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen, Mexico, etc., and the division he has sown in America.

As for the so-called “civil” war in Syria, perhaps they should address the actors in that conflict, including the major foreign interests in that region, but in Syria specifically, which include Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Russia. Who stands with and opposes the Assad-led government?

Rep Adam Kitzinger, R-Ill. and USAF vet, will support resolution. Holds up photo of Syrian children

Seriously? “It’s for the children!!!”?

There are dead (and raped and mutilated and starved) children all over the continent of Africa. Shouldn’t we be lobbing billions of dollars’ worth of cruise missiles into all those countries too — to “send a message”?

And will this tool be holding up photos of the dead bodies of the Syrian children who will be killed by the U.S. missile strikes, because Assad has probably already installed thousands of these “human shields” in every one of the U.S. target sites, in anticipation of the strikes (and the inevitable media coverage of the resulting carnage).

Putin presses US Congress over Syria, says Kerry lied

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/09/04/us-syria-crisis-russia-congress-idUSBRE9830N620130904

In remarks that could raise tension further before he hosts President Barack Obama and other G20 leaders on Thursday, Putin also said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry lied to Congress about the militant group al Qaeda’s role in the Syrian conflict.

“They lie beautifully, of course. I saw debates in Congress. A congressman asks Mr Kerry: ‘Is al Qaeda there?’ He says: ‘No, I am telling you responsibly that it is not’,” Putin said at a meeting of his human rights council in the Kremlin.

“Al Qaeda units are the main military echelon, and they know this,” he said, referring to the United States. “It was unpleasant and surprising for me – we talk to them, we proceed from the assumption that they are decent people. But he is lying and knows he is lying. It’s sad.”

Putin did not give any more details.

So apparently John Kerry is pulling a Clapper, telling the least untruthful answer. It is truly a sad state of affairs when the leader of Russia is more credible than the US Secretary of State. Kerry is either grossly naive or a liar. Now we need to have Congressional hearings into John Kerry perjuring himself before Congress.

What does it matter anymore? Really? This is not the country I grew up in.

“Secy Kerry: some allies have offered to pay for a full-scale invasion, though obviously that isnt on the table”

Did Kerry really say that? Because if he did, there is no reason to credit anything he said afterward.

Russia releases key findings on chemical attack near Aleppo indicating similarity with rebel-made weapons

http://rt.com/news/chemical-aleppo-findings-russia-417/

The key points of the report have been given as follows:

• the shell used in the incident “does not belong to the standard ammunition of the Syrian army and was crudely according to type and parameters of the rocket-propelled unguided missiles manufactured in the north of Syria by the so-called Bashair al-Nasr brigade”;

• RDX, which is also known as hexogen or cyclonite, was used as the bursting charge for the shell, and it is “not used in standard chemical munitions”;

• soil and shell samples contain “the non-industrially synthesized nerve agent sarin and diisopropylfluorophosphate,” which was “used by Western states for producing chemical weapons during World War II.”

So someone is lying here, who is lying? Putin or Kerry/Obama????

All this smacks of Obama opportunistically using a tragedy to deflect attention from his failings to someone else, namely Assad. Of course Assad needs no effort to be tagged for being a bad guy but then I’m one of those who insist the bad guy be tried and punished for the crime he/she did commit versus the crimes they could have done given the opportunity or the crimes they weren’t charged with doing. I’m picky that way.

Did Assad order the chemical attack, NOPE. Is Assad a bad guy? YEAP. What does it matter anymore?

Kinzinger comes down on Cruz for telling the truth?!?! Primary Kinzinger!

Seems to me that Obama is planning to surround Israel and force them back to some arbitrary border. The only problem is, the Arabs don’t know how to “surround”. Ask the Saudis who had lots of Al Qaeda type “surrounded” and yet they still managed to slip away.
