It is a depraved, servile expression on the level of an ally cat in heat inviting the attention of a hyper-male. It comes from the culture where that is actually vaunted as something young women should mimic.
Anyone who has raised daughters to have dignity and self-respect finds the imagery to be repulsive.
I have seen some vids of then ‘negroes’ doing some crazy spasmodic dances from the 20-30s. Some were highly skilled & managed to have deft footwork in there . Ithink it was thought to be primitive & cause it was with negroes not particularly sexual. .
The first twerking vids on YouTube all had black girls. I still get the idea that it is not sexual .
I suggested to a poster here to go do some twerking last year.Have not seen her so perhaps she has taken it up .

Actually a more refined twerking in popular music was Shakira . There has always been some for of hip gyrating somewhere between hula hops & hula dancing..
I have seen performances by Pacific Islander chiefs with unmistakable war like gyrations. I knew exactly what hey meant.
But I don’t know about you but black girls twerking is not sexual because I don’t think of sex with black girls .( you did not pick that up!) . But white gals can’t twerk.
“Twerking” is an American adoption of a dance style I saw in Trinidad back in the late 80’s; however, in Trinidad it’s just another type of “wining”, aka, non-sexual sexual-looking gyration on the order of bump and grind. I was invited to a high school dance while there, and saw the students (friends, nothing sexual) doing it. It looked so grossly sexual and offensive, I touched the young girl doing it and suggested she should not.
Is it sexual? Not really. Does it look sexual? Most definitely.Can sexual things come from it? Indeed! I wouldn’t want my children to do it at all.
That’s a good cartoon. And to be even more accurate, Oblamer would actually be Putin it to him [cough] since that his preferred method. But that would make Reggie Love jealous.
