Only one brother in Cleveland kidnapping to be charged

Only one brother in Cleveland kidnapping to be charged

Police just held a press conference.

Only one of the three brothers was aware of and involved in the kidnapping.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports:

Cleveland police this afternoon announced that they have charged Ariel Castro with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape in connection with holding Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight captive for the last decade.

Police Capt. Ed Tomba said Pedro and Onil Castro will not be charged, though they have warrants on misdemeanor cases, to be heard Thursday morning.

City Prosecutor Victor Perez said there was no reason to believe the brothers were involved. Kidnapping charges against Ariel Castro include the 6-year-old child found in home.

Tomba also corrected previous speculation in the public that the women had been allowed out in public occasionally, saying that they were allowed to go into the garage — and only twice in 10 years, but they never left the property.

Tomba said a paternity test would be given on Ariel Castro to determine if the young girl found in home is his daughter.

Castro, Castro.. I’ve heard that name before, hmmm.

I wonder if Castro is one of Jimmuh Cahtah’s Marielitos.

No charges should be filed, all three should be stood in front of an Adobe wall.

Color me skeptical but I just cannot connect the dots that spell out two brothers were ignorant of the situation.

Just does not compute…

I think the key word that was missing was ‘YET’. The have still plenty of time to indict and I understand the two that are uncharged are still in custody (I think there is rolling over going on).

It takes a village to kidnap 3 girls from the same location & deprive them of liberty walled up in what essentially is as small an area as any village.

Michelle had herself had a baby ( taken from her by authorities) so luckily she knew about childbirth.

There is not any way on earth that childbirth ing screams would not be heard.

It takes a village to let a man who brutally beat up his ex wife to drive the school bus.

So these 7 charges are it? A plea deal & the village can go back to normal.

But that was the Clintons masterpiece – a village has good connotations.

From the police down to the 100% Obama voting – it takes a ghettoe.

Everybody relax, these are only charges laid to satisfy Constitutional requirements, I should think. One should expect the three will be bound over to the county Grand Jury for further investigation. We shall see what the final charges will be, and against whom they will be laid, if that body returns a true bill.

SWAMPLAND in abundance available here in Florida for any of those ‘buying’ this line of grift.

My Fantasy King for a Day Baa-Daa-Bing Solution: Take the delicate & sensitive Castro bruthas and drop them down a well. After tossing in some heavy rocks atop them, please weld the top shut.

Any whatcha’call questions?

It would take less than a minute to determine from the three kidnap victims whether or not the brothers were at all involved with their particular kidnappings and ongoing rape and abuses. Apparently/presumably they’ve denied the brothers were directly involved.

They may have known of the kidnappings and aided brother Ariel in keeping it all secret, which leaves them wide open for potential abetting and conspiracy charges.

Seems to me anyone who is willing to kidnap young girls and hold them as sex slaves would hardly balk at murder, and I suspect we’re seeing only the tip of the iceberg on this story so far.

Sadly, there is at least a little bit of reason to wonder if such might be true. There is at least one published report of an outstanding missing person report which had previously caught the attention of the FBI, the reason being that they felt it might be linked to this case (disappearance from the same part of the city being one element of concern).

Won’t it be something if that precious little girl is NOT ariels? That would put the other two degenerates back on the hot seat. I don’t understand how they can rule them out before the DNA is in.

He seemed to want the baby. I read he threatened Michele with death of the baby did not live.

These tyrants all have designated roles for their captives. A .commenter posted that Michele looked eerily like his ex wife & perhaps she was The workhorse.

Amanda was the Madonna figure & the other one – being the daughter’s friend – would be th sex prize. One would be beaten , one ‘respected’& one xxxx.

What irks me is the nod they are giving his ‘suicide letter’ & his co operation . This is another manipulation just as he attended vigils.

Investigators who are PC. In thought & deed will never uncover evil.

[…] Why are they only charging one brother? […]

I guess this is one of those times where we’re just supposed to trust our government officials right? But it is absolutely unbelievable that the other two were completely in the dark.

The NYTimes article that is on the front page of the New London Day this morning says that Pedro and Onil had no knowledge of or involvement in the crimes, based on the testimony of the victims.

Can anyone with even half a working brain believe that?

Henry Hawkins | May 9, 2013 at 11:44 am

How do they know Ariel is involved? The victims confirmed it, of course. Obviously the victims didn’t incriminate the two brothers, so they face no charges – yet.

The NYT is jumping the gun, drawing an unsupported conclusion. They could easily be conspirators unseen by the victims.

I’m not sure how and why the two brothers were presented as perps by the media in the first place.

Legal question: How could the brothers not be considered accessories-after-the-fact if the girls were, among other things, chained up?

There is only photos of Amanda & the girl .

Both appear too well groomed not to have had female assistance. A man would not buy a woman a headband or a bra. It looked a bit discoloured but the right fit.the girl had a contemporary haircut.

Possibly they were cleaned up . I have not seen pics immediately after release of course.
