How about we send Marco Rubio a birthday cake instead of supporting amnesty?

How about we send Marco Rubio a birthday cake instead of supporting amnesty?

Supporters of the Gang of 8 bill are going to have to do a lot better at making the argument for amnesty than playing off Marco Rubio’s birthday.

From a senior executive at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce:

I thought this response from Kevin Williamson at National Review was fitting:

This response to a response also was very telling:

I’ve made the point here many times. Big business is not necessarily our friend. Look at how Big Pharma backed Obamacare.

Dear Senator Rubio:

(Acrostic below spells Happy B’Day)

Have you lost your ever loving mind?
Amnesty is the stupidest, most destructive
Pile of
Political dung and if you vote for it,
You will lose all your credibility.

Beware of Democrat Trojan Horses
In fact, beware of their Trojan condom programs too.
Rubio, you will sell your career and honor down
The river.
Halt this stupid bill
Desist from compromising conservative values. Your Ancestors and
Your voters will thank you.

Rats! Oh for an EDIT button. The word Ancestors was supposed to be the last A in Birthday.

Amen … let him eat cake. 🙂

Rubio did an hour on Hannity. Made some good points, but seemed to go weaselly on why we have to give a “path to citizenship” (with hard conditions that would no doubt get softened or bypassed by the apparatchik). Meanwhile border security is only “a plan” for border security, never a reality.

Biometric ID, taxes and penalties, TEMPORARY work visas can all help quantify the problem, without a path to citizenship being OPENED till the border is CLOSED (if even then). But Democrats demand 80 million Mexican voters (a real estimate, once all the friends, family and fourth cousins are allowed to “reunite”), they must be given a pathway … Dem’s can scrub the conditions later.

The Chicago Machine has such nefarious connections, I am left to wonder what interests they really represent. The scandals have exposed they are against “patriots”, and Holder will use high office to stop immigration laws from being enforced (e.g. Arizona v. Holder).

Chicago’s new Scarface is a shadowy Mexican drug kingpin nicknamed Chapo — “Shorty” in Spanish. ….

“Chapo Guzman, now that Osama is dead, is in my opinion the most dangerous criminal in the world and probably the most wealthy criminal in the world,” he said. “Guzman was in the Forbes Top 100 most wealthy people in the world. His ability to produce revenue off marijuana, we’ve never seen it before. We’ve never seen a criminal organization so well-focused and with such business sense, and so vicious and violent.”

Could such a powerful and clever figure have connections with US politicians in crime ridden places like Chicago? OR, is there any chance he does NOT?

I want to force him to try to live illegally in Mexico.

That and I want to shovenhis face in the cake. Of all the nonsense… he aint as bad as Chris C but he is getting there by each minute he pushes for this garbage. I would almost give $1000 to the first person to announce they were challenging him… almost… need to check them to make sure they dont have issues as well.

For Rubio’s birthday, I want to send Rubio ack to FL and get Allen West in his place.

Big Business is in love with the idea of all these public/private partnerships and a government directed economy where those with current political power get protection from the markets. Corporatism runs throughout with lucrative cash rich businesses asking the feds to fund their eresearch.

http://www.invisibleserfscollar.com/why-the-world-makes-far-more-sense-if-you-add-dirigisiste-to-the-things-you-understand/ is literally the Corporatist template being pushed now globally. It is a return to Mercantilism with an explicit message that consumers are not entitled to be in charge of the New Economy.

Exactly.

The prof is right regarding big business not being our friend in the amnesty fight. Amnesty is the equivalent of free stuff in the corporate world. Can you say cheap labor?

The same goes for big pharma which I always felt needed to be reeled in as they are responsible as any other health care entity when it comes to spiraling costs to consumers.

We need to be more mindful for what we wish for…

I want IRS Amnesty!
