Someone tell Rahm Emanuel his children are protected by armed guard at school

Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel, former White House chief-of-staff for Obama, recently condemned the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre for suggesting that armed guards in schools could be appropriate in some situations. Yet, it appears that Rahm sends his own children to a school protected by an armed policeman. At a press conference last Friday, LaPierre had said:

If it’s crazy to call for armed officers in our schools to protect our children, then call me crazy…I think the American people think it’s crazy not to do it. It’s the one thing that would keep people safe.

Rahm’s statement:

It’s outrageous and unsettling that the NRA would choose to address gun violence not by taking assault weapons off our streets, but by adding more guns to our schools… That is not the right answer for our society, our schools and most importantly our children.

People across this country, from small towns to big cities, are united and ready to pass common-sense gun control legislation. The time has come for the NRA to get on board or get out of the way.

Yet, a report from Second City Cop, further investigated by Rebel Pundit, reveals that the University of Chicago Lab School, the elite private school where Mayor Emanuel sends his children, has its own armed guard. Not only that, Second City Cop reports that Mayor Emanuel’s children have an armed escort to and from school.

Let’s not forget that Chicago has the strictest gun control legislation in the country, and only recently residents were afforded the still-burdensome ability to exercise their Second-amendment rights. Yet, this prescription somehow fails to halt the bloodbath of violence on Chicago’s streets.

About one year ago, I attended a grassroots organization meeting of inner-city African American mothers who were fighting for second-amendment rights. The packed room was full of people demanding the ability to defend themselves in Rahm Emanuel’s wartorn city. Rahm Emanuel ought to go show his face at a meeting like that and tell them why he thinks they shouldn’t be able to protect themselves with the same weapons the non-law-abiding criminals have. The same weapons by which his own children are protected.

And no, Mayor Emanuel, the answer is not deploying additional uniformed anti-Semitic Nation of Islam patrol units, as you did this summer. As the privileged students at the University of Chicago Lab School remain protected by an armed guard, Emanuel withholds the same protection from those truly in the crosshairs of the disintegrating city over which Rahm rules.

What was it Orwell said? All animals are equal . . . but some are more equal than others.

Guns are fine to protect the lefty “elites” and their spawn, but the rest of us simply are not important enough — right Rahm?

Orwell was the first thing that jumped into my mind as well.
The second thing is the typical politician attitude Rahmbo displays to “great unwashed”–the masses are asses!

Not surprising.

As all Democrats have to do when they join the party, Rahm Emanuel took the Hypocritic Oath.

A couple of fun facts…

1. for years now, the highest application rate for CCP in Texas by demographic has been black women

2. the NRA and the NAACP (before it became an organ of the Collective) were allies against the DEEMOCRAT Jim Crow

3. more killers use knives in the US than use rifles…”assault” or “happy, smiley”

4. one important predicate for the Dred Scott decision was the idea that “the Negro”, if granted status as a human being under the Constitution, would have a right to be armed

Funny what you can learn from history and actual facts…

Here’s another fact: gun bans don’t work.

After Britain banned handguns and confiscated them from registered owners, gun crimes there doubled.

Like the rest of the Collective’s pantheon of magic thinking…

their ideas don’t just NOT work to do as advertised…

they DO work to increase government control over citizens, AND…

expose us to more risks. See cars, less crash-worthy; see also poverty, energy.

    Almost like someone intended it…

[…] put Rahm Emanuel’s name on that “double standards” list. Unless he just isn’t aware that there are armed guards at his kids’ school. If that’s the case, somebody please […]

But you don’t understand! You’re a mere peon, and he’s Rahm Emanuel! It couldn’t possibly get any clearer than that, could it?

-There’s Rahm’s Chicago, there’s JJJr’s Chicago, there’s boystown Chicago and then there’s Chicago for the rest of us.

-Maybe Obama’s presidential library could modeled after Tony Rezko’s jail cell.

-(I wish I had a dot over my house. Then the bad guys would stay away.)

The obvious question not asked is …

Q: If you have ban guns, how do you protect children in schools from a man with a knife, a pointy stick or a banana ?

A: You have armed guards

Safety and security for me and mine but not thee or thine.

He won’t because he doesn’t have to go there. Why? I’ll wager that 98.8% of these outraged people went to the polls on November 6th and voted for the Democrat on the ticket.

Until the aggrieved and suffering put two-and-two together and come to the inescapable conclusion that the Democrats are completely invested in keeping them ignorant, dependent, divided and at-risk, nothing will ever change. Ever.

I oppose the NRA’s proposal of a federal law mandating there be “an armed policeman in every school”.

If I were King, I’d leave it up to the individual school boards to decide if they want to hire an armed guard or not. The school boards should hold hearings, and those who live and pay taxes in the local school district should attend the hearings and engage in a spirited public debate about the issue. Bring lots of facts and data and invite “experts” to testify if they want.

At the end of the debate/hearings, the school board votes. If they decide to hire an armed guard, then they can also figure out how to pay for it locally. If they decide not to hire one, so be it. If the voters don’t like the board’s decision, vote them out at the next school board election.

I think this approach makes sense based on my own experience. The town closest to the farm where I grew up has not had a murder in the 50 years I’ve been alive. This is a community where hunting is a rite of passage and nearly everyone owns guns. Kids grow up around guns. I got my first deer when I was 15. We used to get up at 4:00am and hunt ducks before school. That’s the culture and heritage. Guns are everywhere. Nobody ever gets murdered.

So I seriously doubt that the school district I attended would vote to have an armed guard in the school (heck, there have been times when the entire town didn’t even have its own police officer. It relied on the county sheriff for policing). Based on the past 50 years experience, or for that matter the past 150 years, a top down mandate from a bunch of central planners 1500 miles away would likely be a waste.

Certainly not to degrade this lady, Dame Shirley Bassey, every where “gold” is in this classic replace with NINE, which of course is Rahm. (OK OK, someone is gonna’ type..’thumbs ain’t fingers’!)

Hey ummm, Brits, here’s a deal for you. We ship piersi back, you send us Ms. Bassy.

“Someone tell Rahm …”

Hey, let’s send him a LI community group letter.

I’ll start it off:

Dear Mr. Mayor,

Regarding guns and schools, it would be like shooting schools of unarmed fish in a Chicago barrel to argue that the most rotten fish, rotting from the head down is capable of the most vile hypocrisy and mafioso acts, like sending dead fish to others

I guess that is where Rahm got the Godfather nickname. Of course the old Boss was Daley, then recently his son. Despite Obama’s radical roots in Chicago and his shady dealings, I’m sure neither he nor Rahm are “connected” or anything.

But that does bring to mind a $10 trillion a year recession proof “industry” that operates tax free, that has friends in every arm of government, that’s untouched by regulatory bureaucracy. I’m guessing they’ll be keeping their full auto weapons and carrying concealed, as they reach out and touch people.

If Obama could confiscate the guns of the good citizens, not only would oppressive government have a bigger hammer, but so would those boys in that other network. And I guess union thugs would be afforded a religious exemption, while the rest of us would become more compliant.

It’s getting hard to tell where fascist government stops and the underworld begins. When Russia fell, experienced spies went all free market on the world. Our AG sells a couple thousand guns to Mexican drug cartels, lies to congress about it. Biden’s trusted wizard Jon Corzine illegally takes and loses $1.6 billion from clients, and nothing happens to him. Another shady figure giving funny testimony to congress. Rice and Obama both lie to us, as Hillary hides.

Misha Glenny in one of those TED talks estimated 15% of global GDP is in organized crime (my 10 trillion number). Bernie Madoff was apparently not alone, in the shadow banking of London fogs. We should keep our guns.

You know, it occurs to me that it is very likely that the escort his kids get, and the guards at the school, are private security, not actual cops…

Which then brings it all together, because I wouldn’t want Chicago cops guarding my kid’s school either – those idiots are some of the most incompetent boobs on the effing planet.

“Someone tell Rahm Emanuel his children are protected by armed guard at school”

Believe me he knows, and doesn’t care. We all need to quit thinking that if we transmit enough facts that it is going to make some kind of difference with the ruling elites. They know precisely what they’re doing, and they don’t care what the facts are, nor do they care what the majority think, nor do they care what the Constitution states. All is irrelevant. This is nothing short of a mad power grab pushed forth by a runaway steam roller, right over the top of us all.
