I just love your cartoons and that compilation was amazing. As someone who paints and draws – albeit for children’s theater – I really appreciate the amount of work each cartoon requires. I look at each cartoon first and then sit back and admire all your detail. I know it’s a matter of time before you are snatched away from LI but in the mean time we are really really fortunate to enjoy your work here.

Thank you Mary Sue.. Your kind words have made my day.

    Well said, Mary Sue.

When I was studying landscape architecture, I couldn’t draw a decent perspective to save my life.

But my crisp linework on plan views often elicited rave reviews. How I enjoyed adding texture with pastels.

I’ll never develop more than modest artistic skills. Which is why, after my giggles at the joke have subsided, I “… sit back and admire all of [Branco’s] detail.”

    How exquisite it is!

Thank you Prof Jacobson, for the opportunity here at Legal Insurrection to vent my thoughts in drawing form.
You and your readers are an astute group of thinkers, and it is an honor and a privilege for me to be a part of it.

Branco great cartoons, a highlight on blogshere reading.

Can you make one illustrating Mitts pursuit of the Indepdants while squashing the Conservative/Tea Party baser?

I think thats what lost the election

Absolutely brilliant – thank you for the graphic truth and its often painful humor.

What a year! You did a terrific job of showing the flavor of the moment. I wish I could say that with more enthusiasm. Unfortunately, America’s subjects now tend to enjoy the flavor of tyranny and supposed security over the freedoms we have fought so hard to attain. Also, please consider a few more addressing our inevitable loss of freedoms in the upcoming gun control battle. The 2nd protects the 1st.
