Why do independent ex-RINO squishy social moderates always obsess over stupid issues like this? They’re so out of touch. We can’t keep worrying about ultra-sensitive intolerant white atheists. Don’t Hispanic-Americans love Christmas? The face of America is changing. Does Chaffee hate minorities? Is Meghan McCain available for comment?

Recall the first advice God gave to Adam and Eve:
God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the sky and over all the beasts that tread upon the earth.”
Recall also that a consequence of original sin was a burden of knowledge without wisdom.
For America to remain a Christian nation you must reclaim democratic leverage and education of your children. This will necessarily require rejecting dreams of instant gratification, especially the abortion of your children.
Also, in order to accommodate a diverse habitation, it will be necessary to maintain a separation of church and state, or, in the case of atheists, the separation of cult and state, or, in the general case, the separation of philosophy and state.
Actually, I’m not sure what that means. Perhaps I have become accustomed to living in a Christian land, and do not feel threatened by your customs. I am free to observe my particular practices, there is no effort to coerce conversion, and I do not suffer discrimination for my difference. That seems to be a reasonable compromise or separation.

I love our state, if we could just shake off the parasitic politicians and public employee unions. And Lincoln? Well, if Christmas trees, gay marriage, and legal pot were our worst problems he probably wouldn’t be such an a##hole governor. But he is what happens when voters are apathetic and don’t bother showing up.
America, this little state is living is your future. Please don’t think it’ can’t happen to your state or to our country. The cancer started in places like Rhode Island’s many colleges and universities and has been allowed to fester for decades.

Interesting that Chaffee brought up the SCOTUS ruling on prayer in the public schools. Then brings up the liberal attitude “shut up and get use to it because it’s done and not coming back.”
When are Independents finally going to get a back bone like it the GOP did with David Duke? Chaffee isn’t an Independent any more than Arlene Specter, it’s long past time to get past these liberal self serving agents of societal destruction.
