May this be the last Saturday Night Card Game in the age of Obama

Tonight hopefully is the last Saturday Night Card Game in the age of Obama.

The series started just over three years ago, and has generated almost 150 posts.

I look back on this time period with great sadness as to how everything has been turned on its head. Those who now claim the mantle of civil rights demand that people be judged based on the color of their skin, while those who refuse to do so falsely are called racist for political gain.

False accusations of racism now are a political tool meant to silence legitimate political discourse and to shape the political battlefield. This is no mistake, but a calculated political tactic which has been used to great effect by Obama campaign supporters since 2008.

Pick almost any Saturday Night Card Game post, particularly in the past six months, and then listen to Martin Luther King, Jr.’s I Have A Dream speech.

I think your reaction will be the same as mine.

“May this be the last Saturday Night Card Game in the age of Obama” — Professor, I agree!

I have every confidence Eric Holder will rush into action on this. (snark off)

Damn good thing a True The Vote observer was there and had the guts to raise a ruckus. (I can say “ruckus”, can’t I?)

Remember the speech. I believe MLK, Jr.‘s sharpest criticism would be leveled at those now in positions of power which were, in his day, still only part of “the dream.”

Sadly, even if Romney wins on Nov 6, Obama will use his remaining two months to do everything in his power to destroy America. Unfortunately he has many tools at his disposal.

I am extremely concerned about what will happen in the lame-duck weeks before January 20th. Barry will make Clinton’s FALN pardons look like child’s play.

Just read a story about the auto bailout, and how an Obama-crony company called Evercore made out like bandits (assuming bandits could make multi-million-dollar hauls from their thievery). They’d been hired by GM in its last days to try and find a buyer for the failing company. They failed, but that didn’t stop them from charging GM an $18 million dollar “success fee” when the government “bought” GM during the bankruptcy.

Apparently Evercore defines “success” in the same way Obama does: ripping off taxpayers for enormous amounts of money, and getting away with it.

You know, I’m starting to think that Monsieur le Guillotine had the right idea.

The human race is so beautifully diverse in so many more important ways…intelligence, talents, skills to mention a few. It’s a shame that in four years this president has put us all back into little boxes with labels and literally demands that we stay in them.

the race card will explode over next few weeks, because its going to be said its the only reason why we voted obama out.

Can’t be. Everybody knows that it was Biden that we voted out. It’s just a shame that that lovely, competent, middle-of-the-road, unifier Obama had to go with him.

Hard to believe this started 3 years ago. Actually, it’s had to believe we have survived 4 years of this assault on America. I thank the good Professor for helping me maintain my sanity.

Make it so….

“This is no mistake, but a calculated political tactic which has been used to great effect by Obama campaign supporters since 2008.”

Really? If we’re all discussing the “impact” of the dog whistle, then hasn’t it already lost some of it’s bite? The problem with plastering the airwaves with racism claims, is that they become like the boy who cried wolf. When the real wolf (real racism) comes, then no one will believe it. Chalk it up to stupidity on the race baiting morons, that dog no longer hunts.

The Saturday Night Game is gonna end when a new president is inaugurated, Wm. If you think that there will not be lots of card games when Obama loses, you’re wrong.

Exactly. The old order (re-imagined) will continue to exploit differentials and gradients in order to preserve and recover their political, economic, and social standing.
