Joe Biden calling Romney/Ryan liars? Would this be same Joe Biden who …

Joe Biden just accused Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan of being liars.

How rich is that, coming from a man whose own 1988 campaign for president ended after he was caught plagiarizing a rising British politician?

It was no ordinary plagiarism—you know, like candidate Obama’s stealing lines from Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick. Biden didn’t just appropriate words; he misappropriated Kinnock’s entire biography.

NEIL KINNOCK at Welsh Labour Party conference May 1987:

“Why am I the first Kinnock in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Was it because our predecessors were thick? Does anybody really think that they didn’t get what we had because they didn’t have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitment? Of course not. It was because there was no platform upon which they could stand”

JOE BIDEN IN Sept 1987 during his first presidential campaign:

“Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go a university? Why is it that my wife… is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright? …Is it because they didn’t work hard? My ancestors who worked in the coal mines of northeast Pennsylvania and would come after 12 hours and play football for four hours? It’s because they didn’t have a platform on which to stand.”

Coal mines? Here’s Wikipedia, which also notes that Biden’s paternal grandfather had been an oil executive:

Biden’s father had been very well-off earlier in his life, but had suffered several business reverses by the time Biden was born…. In 1953, the Biden family moved to an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, where they lived for a few years before moving to a house in Wilmington, Delaware.Joe Biden Sr. then did better as a used car salesman, and the family’s circumstances were middle class.

Biden has lied about getting a scholarship to law school; lied about finishing at the top of his law school class when in fact he finished near the bottom; and worked to hide his having been caught for plagiarism. He lies as easily as most people breathe.  (As Ace of Spades documented, Biden lied his way through the v.p. debate.)

Yet, though he knew all that, Barack Obama selected this man as his vice president.  Behold:

Is Lizzy a disciple of this highfalutin Spewocrat?

Worse yet, inasmuch as “telling the tall tales” seems to go with the territory, does this mean we will see her, someday, on the political scene as a VP candidate? Might be another reason for the folks of Mass to stick with Brown!

      1. She’s not getting all that Hollywood money as a tribute to the memory of Ted Kennedy. Google “Elizabeth Waren for President” and you’ll get almost 40K hits.

      2. I’m inclined to believe that her personality and the sleaze that has been uncovered make her non-viable in Presidential primaries or the general election. However, you have a point about the VP slot. Before running as a centrist in the general election, a Democratic presidential candidate might pick Warren as running mate to reassure the radicals.

      3. Hopefully that possibility will be minimized by her defeat tomorrow.

I look at it this way: Joe Biden used to be “accuracy impaired” and he has clearly graduated to “reality impaired,” so thank God he did not call Romney and Ryan truthful.

Prediction:

1. if the Obamic Decline is allowed more time, they will accelerate their ruination of the U.S. economy, which I believe to be Cloward-Piven squared (by attacking BOTH supply and demand sides).

2. if, as I feel, the Obami are swept out Tuesday, their time between the election and their ouster will be spent scorching the earth and plowing salt into the ground. There will be a flood of new regulation and illegal acts by Obama, in hopes that much of it will prove sticky.

3. uprooting the Holder poison from the DoJ, that from State, that from the Marxist DoL, and from the crazy Lisa Jackson’s EPA will be a major struggle, and they will work hard against a Romney administration in every dirty way they can contrive.

Obama and Biden are simply horrible people. There is simply no other way to put that.

Having Biden call you a liar is a signal honor, in fact, since it is so plainly an act of projection.

    I don’t know, ragspierre.

No one involved in public office has ever gotten under my skin like the Clintons and Elizabeth Warren.

Clearly, anyone who gets into state and national politics has a healthy ego and strives for positions of status.

But, no one seems to be as nihilistic as the Clintons in their lust for power and their dishonesty and their lack of principles. If Bill Clinton had been a German or an Austrian during the Rise of the Third Reich, I have no doubt that he would have been, how to put this diplomatically, an “accomodationist” with regard to the prevailing political winds. He might not have actually done anything evil, but he would not have stood up to evil, either.

Biden and Obama seem like decent family men. Biden is a bit of a clown, but not an ideologue. Obama is an ideologue, but, however repugnant or misguided his ideas, he seems to genuinely believe in them.

Most of what I said about Bill Clinton applies to Hillary and to Elizabeth Fauxchahontas Warren, except they are more principled like Obama, as opposed to opportunistically unprincipled like Bill and Joe.

The Capper of them All, however, in terms of nihilistic narcissism, self-righteousness, sanctimonious, raw self-aggrandizement, selectively unprincipled, shrill, vile, officious intermeddling, brow-beating, nasty, crazed, bigoted, undiplomatic, attention-grabbing Cow in a China Shop may be: Gloria Allred. Gloria Allred seems to embody the worst of Bill, Hill, Barack, Joe, Al and Al, Jesse, and even some of the naked hatred of Louis Farrakhan and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, with none of the positive attributes that could possibly be gleaned from any of the others.

Put it this way: If a relative were to marry someone that brought any of these people into your extended family so that you saw them once every 6 to 24 months, Allred and Farrakhan would be the scariest of the lot. Wright would probably mind his manners in polite company. Bill, Hill, Barack and Joe can schmooze. Al Gore and Jessie Jackson would be a bit prickly. And, Al Sharpton might even be fun and amusing – probably the best one for grabbing a beer, shooting pool or playing cards other than Joe. Actually, Farrakhan would probably be more polite at family events than Gloria Allred. Its hard to see Gloria Allred holding her tongue on any topic, no matter how small, and she probably would be the one to always barge to the front of the buffet sideboard.

Of course, not one of these Fuckers would ever have the decency to help clear the table or wash the dishes, except maybe Bill Clinton if there were a hottie that he wanted to chat up.

So, I think the Nasty, Evil, Unremittingly Vicious Reptile Award has to go to Gloria Allred. The rest of them are at least some form of mammal.

Wow. I could not possibly disagree more.

Gory-a is a fairly run-of-the-mill liberal, self-promoting lawyer of middling talent.

Obama and Biden HAVE directly attacked the Constitution and MY liberties and right to life (via ObamaCare).

      No contest. Not even close.

Jack The Ripper in reply to Ragspierre. | November 5, 2012 at 6:46 pm

        rags,

I think I see the disconnect.

When you wrote that they are “horrible people,” I thought you were talking about them as individuals, not as office holders, etc.

As individuals, they do not make me shiver and cringe nearly as much as some politicians, and not nearly as much as some other individuals that I named.

Now, if you want to talk about them in terms of abusing the Constitution and being shockingly ignorant of what they profess to know or would seem to know: Obama has contempt for the U.S. Constitution (as does Pelosi, etc.). Joe Biden is shockingly cavalier and ignorant of all things legal, including incorrectly scolding Sarah Palin about Article I and Article II.

Frankly, I think Syracuse University School of Law should be positively ashamed of Joe Biden’s numerous mis-statements of law.

Even the Clintons treaded a little more carefully on the Constitution than Obama and Pelosi.

And, speaking of law schools, I think Harvard Law School owes us a huge apology for Chuck Schumer, Alan Grayson, Elizabeth Warren, Barack Obama, Elena Kagan, Janet Reno, Russ Feingold, Carl Levin, Sander Levin, Jennifer Granholm, Deval Patrick, Eliot Spitzer, David Gergen, Franklin Raines, Bob Shrum, Ralph Nader, Ben Bradlee, and especially Alger Hiss. We will give HLS a pass on some others that are offset by some good HLS graduates (particularly those in the Reagan administration).

Harvard Law School is shaping up to be a defendant under various theories of tort law, including fraud and nuisance, and sundry other legal theories including RICO, false advertising, etc. At a minimum, the Federal Trade Commission should get a cease and desist regarding Harvard Law School doing, well, anything.

Of special note: Levin, Levin, and Gergen should know better.

Also of special note: Spitzer had better taste in mistresses than Bill “I Wish I Were JFK When It Comes to Women” Clinton.

Speaking of Russ Feingold, John McCain deserves much praise for the sacrifices he made for our country but endless condemnation for raping the First Amendment. Sorry, John, but the First Amendment says what it says and should not be bruised to powder over your scrapes with savings and loans.

“I’m feeling good. I really am. But you know, as that old expression goes, it’s all over but the shouting. It feels good though. It feels good. You’ve been with me long enough to know that I’m always optimistic. But I really do feel good.”
—-Joe Biden

How many “tells” that he is lying about what he feels can you count?

    From Bill’s first link:

Vice President Joe Biden Sunday accused Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan of running a “con game” on voters, charging that the pair were conservatives masquerading as moderates.

This is not how a confident campaign communicates. The Obama people are somewhere between worried and desperate.

My finances are frail but I just made a token donation to Romney. Nevertheless, I might not have typed the above had I seen this at Real Clear Politics:

President Obama’s top advisers and like-minded pundits are openly confident, even haughty, in their certitude that a slight advantage in the public opinion polls will translate into a comfortable Electoral College victory Tuesday night. By contrast, the attitude at Mitt Romney’s headquarters might best be described as cautiously hopeful.

      We’ll see.

Ragspierre in reply to gs. | November 5, 2012 at 6:26 pm

gs, you contribution was well-spent, regardless.

Besides, I heard from Ditzy Wassername-Schultz that Florida is a sure thing for Obama.

        A. Sure. Thing.

          Thanks for your words, Rags.

Let me make it clear that I might not have typed the above referred to my assessment of the Obama campaign’s mindset, not to my donation.

Biden sleight-of-math trick in the video:

He says his first year in law school he was in the “bottom two thirds” of his class academically, but eventually ended up in the “top half” of his class, implying some great ascension in grades. In fact, if he were anywhere between the 50th to 66th percentile he would be both in the bottom two thirds AND in the top half of his class. All of it negated by lies, of course, because he finished near the bottom of his class. Nice hair, though.

You should find the longer version of this video where Biden returns to Frank and says,

“I think I have a much bigger tool than you, Frank … “

I’ve read an article by a doctor recently that blames some of Biden’s bizarre behavior on the lingering effects of his brain aneurysm. But that does not account for a lifetime of aversion to the truth.

I’m from Scranton/ Wilkes barre and biden and his family were what is called lace curtain Irish ….LOL …his family worked in the mines …my ass

If Romney wins, will Michelle Obama still be proud of her country?

If Obama wins, will Michelle Obama be proud of her country, but only for the second time in her adult life?

Sign above Joe Biden’s bathroom mirror: DEFACO ERGO SUM.

Is it just me or does Biden, in that video, look a lot like Peter Boyle?

Yeesh!
