Election Day Empty Chair Countdown – Day 29

Election Day Empty Chair Countdown – Day 29

Each day until Election Day we will feature a previously unpublished photo sent in by a Legal Insurrection reader on National Empty Chair Day, September 3, 2012.

The countdown continues with 29 days to go.

Today’s heart-felt Empty Chair photo comes to us from Doug, Sue, Jed, and Jessica in South Carolina.  The sign on their empty chair reads:

This chair has been empty for four long years.

As a small, family-owned business that we did build, we offer it to any businessman who needs refuge from the current unfriendly administration.

We welcome one businessman in particular . . .

Welcome Romney!

Now that’s an invitation I hope is accepted on November 6th, made possible by the American people who understand that “You didn’t build that” is an insult to small business owners across this great land.

(Note: DO NOT SEND additional photos, we are using only photos originally submitted on National Empty Chair Day.)

This small businessman accepts the chair, but only for a brief respite. That “we built it” is wrong stated in the past tense. With a small business, you’re never done building it.

Rasmussen put out his new party affiliation poll for September.

It has the Republicans at 37%, the Democrats at 34%, and the Independents at 29%. That is a 1 percent difference from his August numbers with the democrats adding one percent to their numbers.

This was also when Obama was ahead by 5 to 10 percent in all of the polling and had “everything” going for him, yet the Democrats are still outnumbered by the Republicans. If mitt is taking Independents by 16% as in the Pew poll and the election is R+3%, we will absolutely DESTROY Obama and the Democrats.

Rasmussen needs to take his own numbers and use them in his polling. Right now he is giving the Democrats a SIX point advantage from his partisan affiliation polling to get a D+3% election day electorate.

We put out our Romney / Ryan yard sign over the weekend while our 9 year old granddaughter was at the house. As we were completing the task, she says ” Aren’t you supposed to put an empty chair near it?” Now this g’daughter has not heard of this from us. My daughter is an O supporter and we just don’t talk politics much for the sake of family peace. So I am thinking the Eastwood empty chair meme is even bigger than I thought

Looks like a great chair for O’bammy to strap himself into while atop the derelict bus ride back to Chicago…

I was watching MSNBC this weekend and they repeated the “you didn’t build that” meme and were absolutely adamant that it is true. The one conservative panelist was shouted down when he tried to explain. The left has completely lost it.
