Obamacare in one sentence

Obamacare in one sentence

Via Maggie’s Farm, h/t a reader.

I’m liking it, although I still think I wrote the single greatest sentence ever.

Comedy gold! Illustrating the absurd by being absurd!

I like it but she left out death panels.

Only one addition: …and to be opposed to the plan is racism….

I’m thinking, Professor Jacobson, that the two of you ought to go on a political comedy tour. I’d pay to see it.

Yes it was greatness

but I had forgotten how great your definition of disappointment was

It made me laugh again to reread it

I can’t choose so I won’t

Those that are not fans of a Federal Government with limited enumerated powers will just mandate more people serve need as doctors … they’re probably receiving some government tuition assistance so this gives the government the upper hand in picking winners and losers.

Magnificent presentation by a real American.

You’re a close second, but actually Glenn Reynolds wrote the single greatest sentence ever, just last night, about Matt Drudge: “Reaching out, godlike, from a condo in Florida to change the course of the Democratic National Convention.”

Reminded me of this scene from a classic Star Trek episode, “Who Mourns for Adonis?”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVGK3fuD5Kw.

Brilliant & funny

I felt unworthy of such genius.

Doughgonnit… It’s just a bit too long to use as an actual ad but sure sums up O’bammyCare in a “nutshell.”

Looks like the possibility of eviction is becoming more real as the moments pass…

BELIEVE IT! ROMNEY AND RYAN WIN BIG IN NOVEMBER!

We have won the contributions battle–by $75 million or so.
We have won the enthusiasm battle–we get the crowds.
We have won the PLANS battle–only we have them!
We have won the LIKEABILITY battle.
We have a VP Nominee who is infinitely better.

Share your enthusiasm; give what you can TO ALL THE CONSERVATIVES YOU CAN; spread accurate information; VOTE AND TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU — not long now.

    NEW SHERIFFS COMING TO TOWN.

I disagree. Frank J wrote the single greatest sentence ever, “I hear the DNC had a video tribute to Ted Kennedy, the only politician with a confirmed kill in the War on Women.”

Very funny

There is hope for the Illinois legislature when/if people like Dr. Bellar are elected; we need people like this. The republican party here is absolutely moribund.

Yeah, well they’re ignoring a golden opportunity to take it to Barry-O in his own backyard. Illinois is suffering from a horrible drought this year…even worse than here in Iowa. But the Pretender-in-Chief has yet to make one visit to an Illinois farm, while traipsing all over Iowa. His cynicism is on full display here. Illinois’ votes are “safe” but Iowa is a swing state.

Why aren’t Repubs all over this?

Headline:

Promiscuous thinking on Obamacare results in pregnant run-on sentence supporting war on women and opens up new front on brevity as the soul of wit.

When the realms of fantasy and reality converge, you have then entered The Twilight Zone.

Reality imposes harsh and progressive consequences for dreams of instant gratification. Let’s hope the Zone is more forgiving.

yeah, thank God for the promise that my rates will go down. I was a little worried after I found my catastrophic plan would not qualify, and that my pool of insured will now include pregnant women and their children, crazy people and their unending psych treatments, and drug addicts and the obese.

I understand that hospitals that charge outrageously for these treatments have milked and butchered the Medicows, and they have to now tap the already happily insured. But I was getting a little worried that all those people could be put in my pool, (along with any that have pre-existing conditions, but wait till the last minute to sign up) and still my rates would go down.

Bill Clinton assured me Obama IS a good man, but I’m a little worried about the meaning of the word “is”. Was he a good man when he forced Obamacare down our throats? Or IS he only a good man when he IS back stage smoking a cigarette? When he’s good he IS good, but when he’s bad he’s very bad?

My rates are skyrocketing, like the price of gas, and the national debt.

Pres**ent Obama likes to talk about “fairness,” a concept so amorphous that the word “fair” doesn’t even have an equivalent in some languages.
Besides, who gets to define what is “fair” and what constitutes “fairness” ?

I’m sure that Barack Obama would agree with me that a 80% tax on royalities from speeches and books by present and former government employees about their time in government is “fair.” Afterall, there comes a point when everybody has to stop taking.
