Depends on what the meaning of “thou” is

Depends on what the meaning of “thou” is

that shalt not.

From reader Pam:

I’ve been meaning to forward this to you for a while. I see this car in the parking garage where I work (please don’t share where, LOL) every day. I am heartened every time I see evidence of conservative thinkers in the deep blue state of Connecticut.

The car’s license plate bracket indicates it was sold by a dealer in the ‘Valley’ section of Connecticut. A lot of the young men from that area join the military upon high school graduation, more so than other areas. A high percentage of the early immigrants to that area, who came to work in the State’s Heavy Industries which were abundant at the time, were from the countries of Northern Europe, the countries that Teddy Kennedy worked indefatiguably to halt immigration from forty years ago and redirected to countries and areas which could supply immigrants to America more receptive to the Democrats poisonous philosophy.
You’ll meet so good, down to Earth, level headed people traveling through there.

“Shared prosperity,” “Investing in government” “Fair taxes” are among the countless euphemistic lies used by the Left to rationalize THEFT.

“I have never understood why it is “greed” to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed [theft] to want to take somebody else’s money.”
― Thomas Sowell, Barbarians inside the Gates and Other Controversial Essays (1999)

“Thou shalt not steal.”
― Exodus 20:15

“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour’s.”
― Exodus 20:17

NEVER, EVER, vote Democrat. For Ds, NEVER trust them.
And watch Republicans like hawks. For Rs, trust but verify.

“The government hates competition”

That to me is the really meaningful, true part.

People who favor government solutions favor monopoly, oddly enough.

They would throw a rolling cat-fit if you upheld private monopoly (which cannot survive in a market for long).

But they LOVE the biggest, most dangerous and most powerful monopoly (which is immune to market forces), and the only one authorized to use force against us.

Makes you wanna go, Hmmmm…

Don’t bear false witness. Obama and the Democrats seriously hate competition.

You shall have no other gods…

Our Government Overlords (and Ozymandias-on-the-Potomac in particular) hate the competition.

Hoover promoting prosperity: “a chicken in every pot.

Obama promoting government: “a food stamp in every wallet.”

A goodly percentage of food stamps never find the recipient’s wallet – they go right into neighborhood black markets. Food stamps are a form of currency in poor neighborhoods, and black market FS speculation is a common practice.

Currently, the federal government is covertly steeling a minimum of 10% from taxpayers through its maintenance of a multi-trillion dollar annual deficit. This is in addition to inflationary policies and other market distorting tactics. The government does indeed steal at will in order to preserve its popular support.
