One final prayer

One final prayer

We could get the Supreme Court Obamacare decision as early as Thursday, or almost definitely by next Monday.

So it’s fitting that Cathy sent this photo, taken in Sanford, Florida:

There were also signs on the car identifying the owner as a pastor.

The main sticker says “Lord, deliver us from ObamaCare!

FWIW: I predict a Bakke-style decision, as Justice Kennedy tries a mend-it-don’t-end-it approach to ObamaCare. There will be a few changes, but ObamaCare will remain largely intact.

Perhaps a good sign…the bumper sports quite a bit of “Wisconsin chrome”.

I prefer, “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition [VOTES, NOT BULLETS, for those who might think otherwise]” over “Lord, deliver us from ObamaCare!”

If it does not get the nod Americans will be dropping off like flies starting Thurday.

Never to be outdone in the health stakes a Brit headline today – “Poor Face a DIY Death”.

NHS Death Panels not doing their job.

We can have universal health care; but, it cannot be done without reforming the large and progressive entitlement state. Everyone, with rare exception, needs to contribute. We must be capable of self-moderating behavior and reject dreams of instant gratification through redistributive and retributive change.

Furthermore, we need to end the massive exodus of American wealth to nations which do not meet our standards of environmental, labor, and human standards. We must end unmeasured immigration (i.e. illegal) and limit legal immigration commensurate to the holding capacity of a community. We must recover and convert resources for productive consumption. We must reject evolutionary dysfunction (e.g. abortion) and reject normalization of other behaviors which contribute to the same. We need to respect individual dignity and end the various cultural “wars”.

The current policies are unsustainable and will eventually harm virtually everyone.

“as early as Thursday, or almost definitely by next Monday”

More likely a week from Thursday, 6/28.
