Elizabeth Warren’s Google problem

Rick Santorum had a Google problem.

And so does Elizabeth Warren, although of a different nature.

Elizabeth Warren wants her message to be about evil factory owners who live off of others, and the middle class which is being”hammered” (her new favorite word).

Whatever her messaging intends to be, Warren’s Cherokee problem dominates the web to the extent that virtually all of the terms which show up on the Google News search menu when her name is typed in involve the issue, including her plagiarism of recipes for an American Indian cookbook.

Here is a screen shot of what drops down when the words “Elizabeth Warren” are typed into the Google News search box:

The problem is not quite as bad for a regular Google web search, but “native american” still is the top search term on the drop down menu, with “cherokee” in second place:

How bad is it? Remember, Elizabeth Warren repeats the phrase “getting hammered” in virtually every interview she does.

It appears that Warren is the one getting hammered.

Anyone paying attention knows that it didn’t have to be this way. Warren could have fessed up and apologized early on.

She didn’t, and her Google problem is of her own making.
