Reader and frequent photographer Bill is back in Florida, and spotted this Beemer in St. Petersburg:

We’re not all enlightened down here in Florida. Some people will obviously vote against their own self interest, a meme that those on the left often accuse folks from fly over country of doing.

No, this is clearly a specimen of the what might be called “the gangpalank rich”. “OK, I’m on board, now I want that gangplank up. Right. Now.”

The various DSA policies seldom affect the very wealthy (as long as they play ball), but will sure as snot keep others from becoming rich too.

I wouldn’t be so sure here.

1. They may be one of the ‘select few’ (e.g. Union Boss or Government Worker). These are the few that get a benefit from the current administration while the economy on the whole suffers.

2. Have you noticed how many people that are on Government hand-outs still drive nice cars? (e.g. ‘single’ mom’s that remain ‘single’ so they can continue to collect Medicaid/Welfare)

Wow! Nothing says natural born idiot like that sign: “Obama. I hoped. I voted. I believe.”

Well, all I can do is toss a Sarah Palin line his way. Eh, how’s that hopey changey stuff workin’ out for ya?

Juba Doobai! | June 7, 2012 at 9:27 am

Come to think of it. The bummer guy must be a Mets fan. They’re the only ones nutty enough to run around with this “I believe” jazz, in the face of all evidence to the contrary. It’s like a religion, I tell ya. “Our Obama who art in the white house, withholding from us our daily bread.”

Marketing failure and fake Cherokee-ism are the ‘aspir-irrational’ motivations for New Age Dreamers with Beemers.

Juba Doobai! | June 7, 2012 at 9:44 am

Ah, I should finish that guy’s orison. “our Obama, who art on the golf course, using your middle name smacks of racism. Marx and Alinsky but no more Constitution; you will for us no guns or freedom, in the USA and in the West. Withholding from us our daily bread, you would seize our assets even in foreign banks even as we try to dodge your taxman. You would lead us out of a representative republic and into communism, for you are the greatest wizard of smart and the haloed and much ballyhooed media darling. Come November 2012, may the land be rid of you, moreover and ever. Amen.”

At that point, he bursts into tears with snot bubbles.

The now named Tampa Bay Times (formerly known as) the St. Petersburg Times, is owned by

Nelson Poynter founder was known for his completely biased Left wing views, I don’t care WHAT their “fairness” documentation indicates.

In fact, the ACLUFL awards something called

the Nelson Poynter Award

Didn’t notice it until now but is that a Beemer 750 “LI” or “750 Legal Insurrection” ?
