And the Nobel Prize for newspaper covers goes to ….

There is some really good front page imagery going on these days.

There oughta be a prize given out for it.

Freaking brilliant! BULL is right.

Oh, EXCELLENT mockery…!!!

On the same plain, my favorite image of the “Forward” BS, seen in the first color image.

“Picture perfect” to warp an old expression to modern use…!!!

ha … can’t quite make out what kind of tat’s they are giving him.

In other news, CARBonite bounced meekly off its 52 week low last week, but firmly crashed through today. CARB is down 6% after showing 44% increased revenue, but also increased losses per share (27/qtr, up from 22 a year ago). Their retention rate looked stable at 96% … I guess that means customer retention.

Uh, oh! Look out Sun – I predict an IRS audit in your future!

Sorry, off topic:

Carbonite is currently down 8.5% on heavy volume, setting a new 52-week low.

At least we don’t have to worry about Tebowing.

He might point up to his offical portrait, tho.

Glad to see we’re not all brain dead and gutless downstate. This knocks the other famous Post headline “Headless Body Found in Topless Bar” from 1st place.

Forward Lateral: I’d like to see Obama become Supreme Leader of Afghanistan. With all the inflated egos over in that area of the world he would fit right in. He could also start a football team – the Karzai Kavaliers.

And most important? Chris Mathews got a leg “tingle” again. He said Obama’s speech was right out of Henry V.

I guess he missed reading this: Men of few words are the best men. (3.2.41)

Glad we as a nation arent interested in “trophies” like Obama said some time ago. But hey..the plaque is still there on his wall with a brass nameplate….so this is different. Sure it is.

Wonder what the carbon foot-print for that little campaign set-piece was?

Pretty stout, I would bet BIG (Al Gore) money!!!

And to think…they have all the big army trucks President Dog Breath could want to take pictures with within just a few miles of the White House.

Shows the body of a muscular black football player. Obviously racist.

The wingnut whining over the word ‘Forward’ as a slogan is breaking new grounds in silly.

Especially because the slogan for conservatives is ‘Backwards’

Irena Sendler

Died: May 12, 2008 (age 98)

Warsaw, Poland

During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw ghetto. She had an ulterior motive.

Irena smuggled Jewish infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried. She also carried a burlap sack in the back of her truck, for larger kids.

Irena kept a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.

During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.

Ultimately, she was caught, however, and the Nazi’s broke both of her legs and arms and beat her severely.

Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she had smuggled out, in a glass jar that she buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and tried to reunite the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.

In 2007 Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize. She was not selected. Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.

Later another politician, Barack Hussein Obama, won for his work as a community organizer for ACORN.
