U.N. Observers observe but not for long

UN monitors flee protest when Assad forces open fire:

Syrian security forces opened fire Wednesday on anti-regime demonstrators surrounding the cars of a UN team meant to monitor a shaky cease-fire, sending the observers speeding off and protesters dashing for cover, according to activists and amateur videos.

Hopefully, the Syrians can escape the disease vectoring and child prostitution common to UN “missions”.

Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kurdistan before OIF, Sudan, and many others and yet some praise the UN as the Hope of the World. Yeah, wrong!

Guess Syrian Arabs are not part of Obama’s “our people” so they can take a hike; yeah, just try to get across the border into Turkey!

Nothing has changed at least since the days of Nasser’s Egypt in 1967 when he closed the Straits of Tiran, effectively declaring war on Israel, and kicked the UN out of Sinai. They complied with alacrity.

The UN also looked the other way, at the very minimum, if not actively cooperated with Hezbollah in 2006 when they kidnapped two Israeli IDF reservists Regev and Goldwasser. And even after it was proven that a UN car had been used in the kidnap and that there was security camera footage of the kidnapping, the UN wouldn’t release the film.

So yeah, colour me unsurprised that the UN would run at the first sound of gunfire. “Peacekeepers” and “monitors”, my foot. The only thing they are monitoring is their own welfare.

Maybe they were trying to avoid the meter maids looking for people with unpaid parking tickets.

I’m sorry, but that’s just pure comedy.
The UN is the most corrupt organization on earth.
No one takes them seriously anymore.
Especially the Syrian dictator.

Note the smart marchers were BESIDE the cars.

SUVs haven’t learned to jump sideways.

Yet. But the have top minds at the UN working on that!
