Anti-Israel sickness on display at U. Penn.

Anti-Israel sickness on display at U. Penn.

Israel Matzav and  JWeekly have good write-ups of the anti-Israel derangement at the University of Pennsylvania, which hosted a Boycott Divest Sanction conference.  Not Boycott Divest Sanction Syria, or Saudi Arabia, or Iran … just Israel.

We have featured these anti-Semitic — yes that’s what they are by their actions — before, but they are far more vicious and devious than most people understand, and one of their primary goals is the indoctrination of college students into the anti-Israel movement.

This audio shows a U. Penn. professor discussing how to work anti-Israel agitation into classes that have nothing to do with Israel:

It’s not new at U. Penn. Here’s a photo of the President of U. Penn. being photographed in 2006 with a student dressed as a suicide bomber. She says she didn’t realize what he was pretending to be — but he was carrying a mock assault rifle (didn’t that cause a reaction itself?) and clearly had on a suicide belt.

That a student felt comfortable openly appearing as a suicide bomber, whether or not the President of the University realized it, says everything you need to know about what is going on at many university campuses.

Fortunately, there was push-back among pro-Israel students and groups.  A hopeful sign.

These people should all be fired. I’m am sick and tired of this Jew-hating indoctrination that is so pervasive on college campuses.
And this teacher is named Amy Kaplan? WTH?

I have an idea:
All of these self-hating Jews and anti-semites that “teach” at universities in the USA should be shipped to the Gaza strip where they can “teach” at the schools there.
Of course, since Hamas has called for the death of all Jews, I’m not sure how long these “teachers” would last, but at least they would finally learn the truth. First hand.
Even if they learn it right before they die.
Idiots.

I went to Penn and the fact that it has been taken over to such a degree by israel hating leftists is disgusting, though not completely surprising. I went back to visit right after 9/11 and I was attacked for saying the radical islamists were at fault and that guiliani was a hero. It was like I was at a Truther convention (or a Ron Paul rally).

My daughter is a senior at Penn. I have to say I wonder how this is tolerated there even with the requisite abundance of left-wing ideologues found in an ivy institution. Penn has a large and active Jewish student base. I guess nothing should shock me anymore but this actually does.

On a side note, my daughter dressed as Amy Gutman for Halloween. She ended up posing with several students who were also dressed as the illustrious Penn president. I think there is something of a consensus she is quite clueless. I am not sure any would find it surprising she didn’t know what a student’s costume was supposed to represent.

Devolution of the Intellectual begins the moment their credentialed superiority complex kicks into action.

“Many Nazi officials came from the educated middle class of German society…… observed of the defendants that “the only common denominator was that nearly all had been to a university and the majority had achieved the doctorate so dear to the German middle class.” The idea of Nazi intellectuals may be troubling to some, but as has long been known, intellectuals rose to power in the systems of both fascism (meaning both Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy) and the Leninist-Stalinist version of communism. Hitler and Stalin required the talents of writers, organizers, and, yes, artists to accomplish their ends.

http://www.hoover.org/publications/hoover-digest/article/105531

The idea that American Intellectuals may be troubling because they think their brain is the ultimate powerful means to accomplishing their ends.

I am hoping and praying that before their ends are achieved the economic bubble will burst the Institutions of Higher Inbred-Intellectual Idiots.

Note Professor Jacobson this is not aimed at you, for you bravely stand athwart the idiots in the Institution; I wish there were more of you to end this march towards Devolution and barbarism.

It is the Instutution which frightens me, an Institution which destroys The Lives of Others (great film capturing how the Inbred-Intellectual accomplishes their goals)

And for anyone out there that thinks those poor “palestinians” are starving, just look at these videos and articles.
Enough of this propaganda from college “intellectuals”.

Glad you posted those videos. Most people have no idea what things are really like in Gaza. Hint – it’s not as our corrupt media has been reporting.

Well that confirms it, the libs have definitely devolved. The hateful libs are adding little feet to the Ichthys symbol to represent themselves, but adding horns and a pointed tail would be a more accurate representation IMO.

There is just a whole lot of misinformation out there about the Israelis.

I linked this document before, and do so again because it is extremely relevant, but also a tough read. Very few people who opine on the subject have actually read it, but like Hitler’s Mein Kampf, it is a serious statement of intent that must be considered in any discussion about either the Middle East or Islam. You cannot understand the situation in the Middle East without knowing the terms of this contract.

The Hamas Covenant of 1988 is an agreement, among many other things, to engage in an advertising campaign to convince Muslims that they have an individual religious duty to kill every Jew on the face of the earth and to reconquer every square inch of land ever held by a Muslim regime.

http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp

They found out fairly soon that most Muslims have an ordinary, human sense of justice, the same one held by their Abrahamic sister faiths Judaism and Christianity and doubtless others. That is, Muslims require some sort of guilt on the part of another before they will see the other as an enemy. Because the Jews never gave them a legitimate cause, the Hamas have been happy to supply fabricated causes. That’s right, lies. Hamas engages in lying, frequently, and in fauxtography. They use the Big Lie as zestfully as the Nazis and the Stalinists ever did.

Even a college student can recognize blasphemy, although they may not be able to dredge up the word. College professors, not so much. Some of them have been willfuly engaged in indoctrination so long, they believe their own nonsense.

This is the barrier to peace in the Middle East. Until this document is repudiated, there will be no peace, because the false advertising will continue to stir up animosity against the Israelis.

Some months ago a young woman of my acquaintance who, to put it diplomatically, has fallen under the sway of a charming, and very eloquent, and very convincing young fellow from the UAE, mentioned to me that Sikhs practice black magic, and that they only cut their hair after they’ve murdered a Muslim.

As a man who grew up next door to a Sikh family, whose closest friend for seventeen years was their son, this came as something of a surprise, as you can imagine. “Where… did you hear that?” I asked her. “Where do you think?”, was her reply.

I’d never heard that one before, in all honesty, but the existence of such blood libel made perfect sense – as I have heard, or read in print, Hindus on multiple occasions mentioning how their parents had taught them that it was the Khalsa who saved India from Islamization.

It’s something that goes well beyond Hamas itself. It’s a fundamentally narcissistic ideology, perpetually engaging in all the hallmarks of malignant narcissism – including projection.

I’m still working my way through translated volumes of the Guru Granth Sahib, but I’m already more than passing familiar with the Koran and Sirat Rasul Allah – and I know whose alleged prophet/god/emperor it was that most explicitly did call for the murder of people like the Sikhs, and the Hindus, and anyone else not content to play the good little codependent.

Important to note – The Charter of Hamas is only quoting the Koran/Hadiths.

    Therefore –
Islam itself is the culprit behind the evil of the Hamas Charter.
Islam is a big violent, aggressibe, racist, sexist, human-rights violating hate group.
Islam is an equal or worse offender of human rights, God-given freedoms and decency than the KKK, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, N Korea, etc.

Remember the good ole days when colleges and universties were about advancing mankind through math, science, and an appreciaton for genuine liberal arts?

Now they are leftist indoctrination factories. It’s frightening.

Not all – if we look for them… there is Hillsdale, Patrick Henry and other excellent truth-based education out there.

We can also stand up to the others.

For example – Christian Vanderbilt alumni – let the administration know what you think of their recent dogmatic edicts upon Christian groups on campus.

Actaully, I don’t remember that in my lifetime, although I do remember this was what “university” was described to mean when I chose to attend.

From what I’ve gleaned, the takeover went into overdrive during the 1960s, but started much sooner, as this video by Bill Whittle shows: Walking into Mordor.

    Frightening…….and all too real.

(Glenn Beck, Rep. Paul Ryan, and others have related this takeover to an even earlier movement of Fabian Socialists and progressives in general – specifically to the German/Prussian-rooted Progressive Wisconsin Idea; it was NOT a mere coincidence or “tin foil hat” fantasy.)

This is pretty much becoming par for the course at Universitiies naiton wide.
I remember when I took General History 102 (1800-present) we had to read the Graphic Novel “Palestine” for class.
The novel is tilted so heavily if you aren’t aware of the biases its hard not to be swayed by it (because good portrayal is designed to sway, especially if it’s biased.)

Anti-Israel syndrome is prevalent in the media.

CNN has fired its Jewish staff and now has only Arab pro-Islamists.

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2012/02/cnn-fires-entire-jewish-staff-of-israel-bureau-and-retains-only-arab-reporters.html

American universities are owned by Muslims. Take Saudi or other Arab money and turn a blind eye to anti-Semitism while supporting Islamic encroachment into American society.

Are American universities so hard up for tuition dollars that they are now fighting Wahabbist madrassahs here in the U.S. to establish Jihad Studies programs?

Standing reality on its head and smearing it with crap may have some pedagogical value in Performance Art Studies, but there comes a time when one has to stand athwart historical poop and yell, “Stop!”

I always found the saying, “Jews are just like everybody else … only more so” to be amusing.

In this case, it isn’t amusing. If I were a pro-Israel conservative Jew, I’d want to take Ms. Kaplan aside and ask her, “Are you nuts or insane or both?”

All peoples of the earth have there members who find faux-nobility through gratuitous self-criticism. It’s a psychological defect, pure and simple.

Ms. Kaplan is a great example of this … only more so.

LukeHandCool (who marvels at the strides humans make in the hard sciences … and then looks at the state of today’s social “sciences” and can’t believe how much it looks like we’re going backwards to darker times).

“there” should be “their” … so there!

LukeHandCool (who was chiding his daughter for making this mistake just the other day).

Praying the Psalm 83 of King David involves the G-d of Israel who always wins.

First, it was the Muslims, and then their ideological “secular” counterparts joined the fight against the world’s premier minority.

They’re a minority! Think of the minority! Why aren’t the selective justice people thinking of the minority?

    LukeHandCool in reply to n.n. | February 10, 2012 at 1:01 pm

Some minorities are more equal than others.

Undergrads wanna rebel … jihad, rockets, injustice … Oh! The goosebumps! … What’s cool about hard work and success?

You obviously know nothing about being cool, n.n., my nerdy friend.

Last time I was on college campus, which was nearly a decade ago anti-Israel content was woven into all sorts of unrelated classes, like American History. Amazing to see academics admitting that it’s done purely for propaganda purposes.

Six or eight years ago i was passing through Gainsville and saw about 15 students standing in an almost military formation protesting war. It really looked like a class project and they were playing the parts of protestors badly. There was no real passion and they seemed like they were reading a script. They did not seem to be aware to there was no draft. Before they got to college i am sure that they had never participated in a political protest. I have no doubt that declining to accept this field training by their professor would affect their grade.
