S.E. Cupp, who previously called Newt a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown, is on the verge of a breakdown, Newt’s Doomed Crusade:

At the risk of sounding maudlin or apocalyptic, the conservative movement is  poised to become irrelevant or simply extinct….[C]onservatives are in dire need of a come-to-Jesus-moment, the  likes of which even Tim  Tebow cannot inspire….

• Romneymania Sweeps America, not written by S.E. Cupp, but it coulda been.

• The Three Reasons Newt Is More Electable Than Mitt.
• Rubio scolds Gingrich camp, right after he scolded the Romney camp for its lies about Newt’s ethics charge and for teaming up with Nancy Pelosi to attack Newt, right?  Right?
• Second Freddie contract released prohibits lobbying.
• Another big crowd at Gingrich FL event.
• Polling all over the place, from Newt surging and in the lead by several points particularly with recent deciders (Quinnipiac, Rasmussen) to Romney still comfortably in the lead (ARG).
• Any suggestions of better places to get news? — Drudge ran a huge headline with the Pelosi accusations all night and morning, but still (a/o 3 p.m.) hasn’t reported that she backtracked, and since pulling the Pelosi banner has been running this:

Not all hope is lost, h/t commenter Logos, Drudge has updated around 3:30 p.m. Eastern to reveal that Nancy has backtracked — see if you can find it.  Drudge has an absolute right to do what he wants, and we have an absolute right to point out that he has been promoting Romney and targeting Newt:
