“They cheated for Bush, so hey, I’m going to cheat to get Scott Walker out of here”

“They cheated for Bush, so hey, I’m going to cheat to get Scott Walker out of here”

So says a man interviewed by a Wisconsin news station about his signing petitions to recall Scott Walker 80 times:

Man:“I think I signed about 80 times.”

Wainscott:“You’ve signed 80 petitions, you think?”

Man:“I signed a lot of them for the past two weeks. I’ve been  seeing them at the Grand Avenue Mall. Out here by Pick ‘n Save and stuff like  that.”

Wainscott:“Well, you know they’re only going to count one of your  signatures?”

Man:“Oh well. Whatever it takes to get Scott Walker out of here,  I’m happy.”

Wainscott:“That means signing repeatedly?”

Man: “Yeah. They cheated for Bush, so hey, I’m going to cheat to  get Scott Walker out of here.”

But rest assured, “punchy” Democratic spokesman Graem Zielisnki assures us that it’s not true, and that the guy in the interview suffers from mental illness and is not credible.

Remember, the election officials in Wisconsin already have announced they will not be checking for duplicates, so the burden will fall to anti-recall forces, who already are organizing.

Of course the Democrat spokesmen are going to be out there trying to discredit the guys who are admitting on camera to election fraud.

Anything less would be to further openly admit that the Democrat Party uses election fraud to disenfranchise the voters of Wisconsin.

At least now the Democrat Party is being open about the election fraud that they are trying to foist upon the Wisconsin populace. The fact that they’ve made such open statements should frame the case nicely for a court challenge to the signature process.

Milwaukee from the other thread has the right idea.

So long as somebody is transcribing the signatures, addresses and data, it shouldn’t be too hard to determine duplicates. Given any sort of database file, anyone with Microsoft Access could identify potential list of duplicates that have to be checked within a matter of a few hours. The bigger problem will be actually going and following up with those signatories.

Depending on how “clean” the Signature pages are (meaning the writing is clear, not smudged or otherwise torn-up) the new copying machines have built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities and PDF to Word/Excel converters. There may be 80,000 pages of signatures, but there may only be a few entries on each page that have to be manually entered.

Two wrongs make a right when the first one is imaginary.

But the real burning question this morning is what to do with the 600 million gamers who are virtually violating the Geneva Convention ?

“One possible course of action… could be to encourage governments to adopt laws and regulations to regulate this ever-growing industry.”ICRC

Another would be to cut off money to the Red Cross for their meddling, but I can see a compromise …

Have the game report each violation of international law … and then score bonus points for each.

Thank you, Professor, for this post. I just volunteered for data entry.

The US can answer all threats – except the corruption of the voting system, which is one of the foundations of this Republic.

Yet Dems claim voter fraud does not exist, despite the ACORN voter registration fraud exposed in 2010.

This example in Wisconsin is blatant, in-your-face fraud, with no apologies.

This week the Guardian reported that the NAACP plans to petition the UN to interfere in the US voting process, alleging ‘massive voter suppression’ after “…34 states … introduced a requirement that voters carry photo ID cards on the day of the election itself.”

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/dec/05/civil-rights-naacp-voter-warning

In my state, one must furnish a photo ID at doctors’ offices to receive Medicare services and to buy beer, liquor and sudafed and possibly other instances.

Photo Voter ID requirement suppresses voter fraud – and that is the true nature of the complaint being filed with the UN.

If voter fraud is suppressed, just ask the UN to interfere in the laws of the United States of America, so business as usual can be conducted.

You mean to say that the demos are still sore over the 2000 election???

Well, I guess that I could understand this feeling assuming that none of these soreheads have a knowledge of basic civics. You know… How the presidential election process works, the Electoral College etc.

Yep, it’s these same soreheads that are destroying this country from within since January 20, 2009 and want another four years to, “Finish the job.”

So… Getting back to Wisconsin and Scott Walker who evidently had the backing of the majority of those who participated in the 2010 gubernatorial election there are having second thoughts??? Or is it the same soreheads that just cannot accept the will of the majority?

Me thinks that it is solidly the latter..

“… the interview suffers from mental illness and is not credible.”

You’re not suggesting that many… most… all of those signing the petitions to recall Gov Scott Walker are mentally imbalanced, are you?

Democratic spokesman Graem Zielisnki assures us that it’s not true, and that the guy in the interview suffers from mental illness and is not credible.

Watching the video, it seems like he is saying that people who sign more than once are either A) mentally ill or B) up to no good. I hope the local Mental Illness Alliance chapters “rip this guy a new one.” Mark my words, if it was a Republican official equating mental illness with criminal activity, this would be all over the news.

The Republicans should grow a set and take the lead on this – something to the effect that Mentally Ill people have just as much of a right to participate in the electoral process as anyone else. Unlike certain Democrat party officials, who believe mentally ill people may be too dysfunctional to properly participate. Of course, in the Bush/Gore and Franken races, illegible ballots were deemed to be valid, despite the incompetency demonstrated by not being capable of marking an oval or pushing a pin through the ballot.

I don’t know how it works in Wisconsin, but in California just because someone registers Democrat doesn’t mean he or she isn’t allowed to vote.

LOL, @malclave!

In many states, a petition page that contains duplicate signatures, minor formatting errors, or is collected by a non-resident is thrown out along with any valid signatures on it. If Republicans are trying they should be able to get a large percentage of signatures thrown out. Both parties are quite adept at challenging petitions and this one looks to be pretty shoddy.

Isnt there a mandamus action to compel the Election Board to verify non duplicative signatures? Is the Board only populated by democrats? Why would repubs go ahead and condone democrat voter fraud?
