Remember when stimulus actually created jobs?

Remember when stimulus actually created jobs?

Spotted by the wife about two blocks from our house in Ithaca.  She was surprised I had not spotted it yet.

Actually I had, but if I took the photo and posted it, there would be hell to pay.  But since she took the photo it’s okay.

So many thoughts. So much trouble if my wife heard them.

I can’tmake out the website but thhe year is 2004 so unfortunatelyit doesnt reference Obama

It may be from a marginal outfit called “no respect publishing.”

Regarding the date (2004) I’m surprised the owner of the car leaves it there, given the Obama record on jobs!

    Talk about bumper sticker shock!

That message could even encourage die-hard Ithaca voters to think about their first-ever Republican vote!

    Damn!

What’s that Little Texas song about reacting to being jilted?

My Weekly Obama Jobs Report, the Stimulate Finland edition…

Finally for the week, nostalgia for Bill Clinton? Ayup. William Jacobson’s wife found a, uh, stimulating bumper sticker on a car near their house in Ithaca. Trust me, it’s worth a click….

“… if I took the photo and posted it, there would be hell to pay. But since she took the photo it’s okay.”

Yep. That stuff is best left to women.

It isn’t the degree from Harvard Law…

It’s not the professorship at Cornell…

It’s not the blogging at LI…

This, my friends, is proof positive that our friend is brilliant.

A tip of the marital hat to you, sir. Well done.

Yeah, 2005… with its soul-crushing 5.5% unemployment rate. How did we ever live through it?

Luckily, those days are long gone!
