If Ezra Klein was smart enough to listen, which he’s not, he’d benefit from the exchange. Santelli was on the mark in Feb ’09 and remains so today.
Good clip. Young Ezra gets schooled by Santelli, who has probably forgoten more about markets and economics than young Ezra will ever know, and yet he still refuses to learn the lesson. He’s a fricking journalist, yet he thinks he knows more about economics than the guy whose spent his career studying the economy? What arrogance.
