MSNBC Host Joe Scarborough Intro’d House Res. Condemning Sharpton’s “Racist,” “Anti-Semitic” Views

In honor of Sharpton’s new position as an MSNBC host, a link to the full resolution, courtesy of the GPO.

From Scarborough’s whereases:

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as ‘‘bloodsucking [J]ews’’, and ‘‘Jew bastards’’;

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as ‘‘white interlopers’’ and ‘‘diamond merchants’’;

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton was found guilty of defamation by a jury in a New York court arising from the false accusation that former Assistant District Attorney Steven Pagones, who is white, raped and assaulted a fifteen year-old black girl;

He later continues:

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s vicious verbal anti-Semitic attacks directed at members of the Jewish faith, and in particular, a Jewish landlord, arising from a simple landlord-tenant dispute with a black tenant, incited widespread violence, riots, and the murder of five innocent people;

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s fierce demagoguery incited violence, riots, and murder in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York, following the accidental death of a black pedestrian child hit by the motorcade of Orthodox Rabbi Menachem Schneerson;

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton led a protest in the Crown Heights neighborhood and marched next to a protester with a sign that read, ‘‘The White Man is the Devil’’;

Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has insulted members of the Jewish faith by challenging Jews to violence and stating to Jews to ‘‘pin down’’ their yarmulkes;

I wonder what Scarborough has to say about this resolution now?

I had no idea that Sharpton was the one who led those riots. I didn’t pay attention back then……… How can Joe Scarborough work for MSNBC? Does he have ANY scruples?

I guess money is all he wants, since he was disgraced and resigned.

I guess it would be a matter of pot & kettle, eh?

If I hear one more lefty harp about Fox News after their beloved MSNBC has hired one of the most vile people in American politics to anchor one of its prime-time shows …

This is almost as bad as the Democratic party inviting Sharpton to its 2004 national convention as a featured speaker. What a disgrace to elevate this ruthless demagogue. His hands are covered with blood.

LukeHandCool (who could never bring himself to refer to this vile human being as “Reverend Sharpton”).

Q: I wonder what Scarborough has to say about this resolution now?

Scarborough’s Answer: Resolution? What stinkin’ resolution!?

Sharpton is the essence of the Democrat party — hateful, violent, greedy, and yet with more positive press coverage than Mother Theresa.

I guess since the CEO from Comcast had dinner with Barry O on the Cape, he is at least left of Scarborough, and right on Mica.

MSNBC? It fits him. And them. Wonder if Fox News network’s Bill O’Rielly will still have him on as a guest?

I never understood that bit.

    I could never understand it either Aridog except maybe Billy was trying to attain a little black “street cred” to show his detractors how racially sensitive and open minded he is. I stopped watching Billy about four months ago and I was surprised at how EASY it was to “kick the habit.”

This is what I think Joe has to say now:

But resist we much… We must and we will much… about … that … be committed.

[…] up, Via Gateway Pundit, we find out that Joe Scarborough once proposed a resolution in the House of Representatives condemning Sharpton as a […]

This is yet another example of the Drama Triangle so brilliantly described by Dr. Stephen Karpman in 1968. Long story short, when you “rescue” people, they eventually come around to “persecute” you.

Although I believe the intentions of the Jewish people were based on their historical suffering, and their desire to sincerely help a down trodden and persecuted people, they simply didn’t know about the dynamic they set in place.

Few people understand this phenomenon. I believe it accounts for a great deal of the racial discrimination and animosity we see today by blacks against whites

The best thing anyone can do for anyone (or any group)in need of assistance (and I’m not talking about charity here) is to leave people to find their own means and methods of transcending their particular predicament. As we can see today, social engineering NEVER works. In fact, it is often counter productive.
