Polling 101 Recap

Polling 101 Recap

Here is a recap of the Polling 101 series of Guest Posts by Matthew Knee, which ran last week:

  1. How People Answer Polls
  2. Samples & Margin of Error
  3. Handling Bias
  4. Evaluating The Public Employee Union Polls
  5. You Can’t Learn Much From Asking People Their Ideology

The series was a real eye-opener for me, and hopefully for our readers. I look forward to additional posts from Matt in the future.

This was a very interesting and informative series.

Kudos to you, Professor, for showcasing the young and upcoming conservative talent. It makes me feel a little less anxious for America's (and thus the world's) future knowing there are American students out there who don't bow to the PC McCarthyism prevalent on today's campuses, and it gives them a chance to engage beyond the classroom.

Just when I'm about to give up hope for the younger generation, it unexpectedly springs up again in the form of free-thinking individuals.

Definitely some good stuff. Thanks for mixing it up a bit.

Sorry, I'm anti-intellectual. I can't read such long posts.

Excellent! Your type of analysis is sorely needed in this age of polling to get predetermined answers and outcomes.
