Never Mind

Never Mind

Sorry my posting had been slow, but it’s not like I’m tired or burnt out, because that would be completely unacceptable and would cause mean people to poke fun at me.

Let’s just say, I’m fed up with the world, no that doesn’t sound right, let’s just say I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, or maybe looking for someone’s neck to wring but there are too many choices, I’ve got it, I’m really  busy but no one will believe that because all I do is teach.

Never mind.

This is where Kathleen is supposed enter stage right to pick up the slack, correct?   😉

Cheer up. As the saying goes, things could be worse. So, I cheered up and, sure enough….

Just never underestimate the power of human stupidity

Elliot Spitzer used those same excuses when he went AWOL you know lol

This post made me laugh out loud. Your classes must be as fun as they are edifying.

I only offer these lovingly since this is "the greatest blog I've ever read", too, and we'd all miss you if you got "tired or burned out"….

Ten tips on dealing with depression:
1.Talk to one person about your feelings.
2.Help someone else by volunteering.
3.Have lunch or coffee with a friend.
4.Ask a loved one to check in with you regularly.
5.Accompany someone to the movies, a concert, or a small get-together.
6.Call or email an old friend.
7.Go for a walk with a workout buddy.
8.Schedule a weekly dinner date.
9.Meet new people by taking a class or joining a club.
10.Confide in a counselor, therapist, or clergy member.

There, hope that helps!

PS: In my real life (as opposed to cyber life)I work in a university mental health clinic, so I know the stress you're most likely under this time of year!

Professor, don't forget to breathe. We're here for you if you need us.

Must be a lot of this going around. My theory is that the latest round of wikileaks has forced most of us to recalibrate our truth sensors and the process is much more involved than we expected. We're all numb.

eat latkes
have jelly donuts
don't forget to light menorah

we won – they lost – party time!

Methinks the good Professor has been a bit early in sampling the egg nog. Either that or he's in love, which explains his surfeit of humor lately.

Not that I'm complaining. I like the Prof's new style!

Professor, like the Saturday Night Race Card game, you've got to come up with some Frivolous Friday thing to do.

Maybe post political LOL cats, I dunno.

methinks that Stogie has the right idea

Happy Hanukkah!

Be Happy – it's Hanukkah!

You can go back to being frustrated/alienated/fed-up/fill-in-the-blank next week!

Fridays should be a day to post the most ridiculous correspondence of the week. For the enjoyment and edification of all. 🙂

There comes time when we all need to hide for awhile…we used to call them mental health days.

Finals must be approaching; you have a tough schedule. Please relax, enjoy Chanukah, and breathe. The folks in DC are trying to use the lame duck session to ram more down our throats, so we will have LOTS of undoing to discuss in the new year. Relax, celebrate! We're here when your schedule slows a bit. 😀 Happy Chanukah!!
