Leaks For Thee, But Not For Me

Leaks For Thee, But Not For Me

This is rich.  Julian Assange’s lawyers are complaining that details of Assange’s alleged sexual assault have been leaked:

Incriminating police files were published in the British newspaper that has used him as its source for hundreds of leaked US embassy cables.

In a move that surprised many of Mr Assange’s closest supporters on Saturday, The Guardian newspaper published previously unseen police documents that accused Mr Assange in graphic detail of sexually assaulting two Swedish women. One witness is said to have stated: “Not only had it been the world’s worst screw, it had also been violent.”

Bjorn Hurtig, Mr Assange’s Swedish lawyer, said he would lodge a formal complaint to the authorities and ask them to investigate how such sensitive police material leaked into the public domain. “It is with great concern that I hear about this because it puts Julian and his defence in a bad position,” he told a colleague.

Assange is getting a small taste of what he gives.  Good for The Guardian.

Poor Julian… put in a bad position. Whatever shall he do?

The old phrase:  'Couldn't happen to a nicer guy', come to mind.

TMI! Now we're all left wondering whether he was as bad as this, my least favorite kind to contend with.

Kiss and tell is so déclassé.

I hope Assange is actually guilty of having violated Sweden's rather absurd sexual assault laws, else we're watching a bad Euro post-existentialist farce in which the audience becomes the leerer at Assange's screwing by these women.

Would rather he faced charges for publishing U.S. state "secrets," if indeed Holder can find he's committed a worse offense than, say, the oppressor State of Arizona.

Poor baby, Julian. I'm sure being described as lousy and violent in bed is much worse than, say, ENDANGERING HUMAN LIVES????

Someone should look to see if the police in Sweden or the prosecutors office handing the Assange case recently disposed of a printer. Can't find the links right now, but at least one US Police department failed to sanitize the hard drives on several printers that were scrapped.
