Interesting. Jonathan Turley thinks a defamation suit against Breitbart would survive motions to dismiss potentially subjecting Breitbart to embarrassing discovery (the left is salivating over that possibility). That would keep the story alive and prolong her status as a hero on the left. Here's Turley's analysis if you haven't read it:
There is a larger story behind the Sherrod scenes: she and her group (?) sued the USDA – check out a case called "Pigford".
Apparently there are millions of payouts made and still going on as the system is probably being 'gamed') (search: Pigford I, Pigford II) – seemingly favors poor black farmers more than poor white (or any other color) farmers… hmmm
Could the discovery pro.cess determine what the basis for giving $300,000 for pain and suffering to the Sherrods was.
" … New Communities is due to receive approximately $13 million ($8,247,560 for loss of land and $4,241,602 for loss of income; plus $150,000 each to Shirley and Charles for pain and suffering).
I also noted the surprisingly unnoticed DC Examiner piece regarding the Pigford Farms case and how Sherrod and her husband's farm trust — defunct for 24 years — was awarded 13,000,000.00 in bacon-flavored cash.
It was very frustrating being on the road yesterday morning (Thursday) and listening to Rush Limbaugh ask aloud what Tom Vilsack meant when he made his remarks about the history of discrimination by the USDA. I was screaming into the radio: "Pigford Farms! PIGFORD FARMS! Do some freakin' research! Finally, in the waning moments of the program, Snerdly was able to give him enough information so that he knew the impetus was something called "Pigford vs. Glickman."
CNN is doing a special on her. will they make her out to be a saint–or–since she's an embarrassment to the WH, will they do a more balanced presentation?

Does your prediction mean you don't agree with Turley?

Wonder if Pigford and leftist/USDA corruption could become a larger "story"? …. naaaah (but perhaps the legal background on this case is interesting?)
She's also linked to William Ayers:

Professor, I think you're correct on this prediction. Note that she is flailing and screaming… racism! again.

As far as I know, only MY blog has a link to C-SPAN video of Iowa Congressman Steve King explaining in 2008 that the number of claimants for a share of the blank-check Pigford settlement had over the previous nine years increased over thirtyfold. As far as I know, only MY blog has a link to C-SPAN video of Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley on the Senate floor talking about how some Pigford payouts have been going to dead people. And to my knowledge, only MY blog has a link to June 2009 C-SPAN video of Tom Vilsack at a Rainbow/PUSH "Urban Stimulus" conference promising that the Obamastration has authorized $1.25 billion to be paid out to tens of thousands of late Pigford claimants.
Less than a month after that promise from the Ag Secretary, the Sherrods had their $13 million, and Shirley had a government job working for Vilsack.
(Is there something suspicious about that? You be the judge.)
I hate to blow my own horn, but … HONNNNNK!
