On March 14, 2010, Marine Corporal Jonathan Daniel Porto was killed in Afghanistan.
Every loss of one of our soldiers is tragic, but this tragedy has hit home because Cpl. Porto’s wife has posted about it at her blog, A Little Pink in a World of Camo.
Her post, I Will Always Be A Marine Wife, is a must read.
Cpl. Porto is survived not only by his loving wife, but by his infant daughter.
I have not been able to stop thinking of them since I first read the post, and never will.
