Adam Schiff Panics Over Possible End to Russia Probe

When it comes to the Russia collusion narrative, the Democrats have got nothing. The investigation has been going on for months and we always seem to be just a few days away from the bombshell that will finally allow Democrats to declare the 2016 election null and void.
Now that the political bias of so many members of Mueller’s team has been made public, people are quickly losing patience with the entire affair. Rep. Adam Schiff of California, who has become a darling of liberal cable news throughout the investigation, is sounding the alarm.

Rep. Adam Schiff said Thursday he’s concerned Republicans are working to end the Russia investigation.
“I think they view shutting us down as a prerequisite to shutting Bob Mueller down,” Schiff said on CNN’s “The Situation Room.” “And we see some very disturbing signs that that’s what they intend to do.”
In the interview, Schiff noted several Republicans who were critical of special counsel Robert Mueller during a hearing on Wednesday with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
And when CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked the Democrat from California if he feared Republicans were attempting to pave the way to shut down the investigation, Schiff replied: “I do.”
“We are scheduled to have witness interviews out of state at a time next week when we’ll be voting to keep the government running, when we’ll be voting … potentially, on this tax bill for the wealthy, so we can’t leave to do these interviews, and nonetheless even though these witnesses are very important and have been on our witness list for months and months and they haven’t been willing to bring them in until now, they’re pulling these kind of tactics, which say to me they’re trying to bring this to an end,” Schiff later added.

Next week, they scheduled critical witness interviews out of state, when we are voting on the tax bill and vital government funding bills and no Members will be able to ask questions, in an effort to squeeze them in before end of year.

Schiff could find himself the target of a new probe if Donald Trump Jr. has anything to say about it. Schiff is accused of leaking information to the press about Trump Jr.’s recent testimony before the hearing even concluded.

Donald Trump Jr. and his lawyer formally requested an investigation Tuesday into leaks from the House Intelligence Committee that followed Trump’s participation in a closed-door interview with committee members and staffers last week.
“The public release of confidential non-public information by Committee members continued unabated” for 24 hours after Trump’s supposedly confidential interview last week, Trump’s lawyer, Alan Futerfas, wrote in a letter delivered Tuesday afternoon.
The four-page letter, addressed to Rep. K. Michael Conaway (R-Tex.), the panel chairman overseeing the Russia investigation, complains about public comments made by three members of the panel, all Democrats, including the highest-ranking minority member of the panel, Rep. Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.). The letter says that members and staffers began “selectively leaking information” even before the closed-door meeting ended.
Perhaps this is the real reason for Schiff’s sudden sense of urgency.

I read in I think the Conservative Tree House that Schiff was set up by the FBI with false information to determine if he was leaking. He fell right into the trap and gave CNN the wrong date that the wikileaks key was sent to Trump Jr.

It’s pretty amusing, this new freak-out on the part of all of the dems, up and down the news food chain – I think they suddenly realize this entire investigation gambit, which they placed all their hopes and dreams on, is falling to pieces in front of their eyes.

Sundance at Conservative Treehouse, another legal blog, believes that the Inspector Generals report in January will be devastating to the Democrats and they will try to smear Horowitz, the general in the media before hand. It is now confirmed that the IG’s release of emails did in fact coincide with testimony so that Congress could ask witnesses the appropriate questions. The releases were at the request of the congressional chair. On November 15, 2017 the OIG testified that it had consulted with the DOJ and that both agencies, the DOJ and OIG, had determined that the emails releases, 5 to date, were suitable for release. Apparently the testimony was presented in such a low key fashion that no one, particularly Nadler, the ranking Democrat, caught the drift of what the OIG was saying.
Have we misinterpreted Rosenstein’s obfuscation? He approved of these devastating releases that clearly indict Comey as a fraud and corrupt. Next on the firing line is McCabe. I think the OIG is setting him up for perjury.

Look, the problem here is that there is quite simply no one holding the Democrats accountable for their actions and reactions to the election.
THAT has to be the role of the media BUT the media is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the DNC SO the reality is this investigation is going to roll on for the next 7 years.
As long as the media doesn’t hold Democrats accountable nothing will change.
