CNN’s Cuomo: Obama EPA Regs Key to Keep US “from looking like Shanghai”
Meaning the regs stop the country from “blowing all kinds of black smoke into the air.”

On CNN this morning, the panel discussed the Trump admin’s announcement yesterday that it plans to roll back some of the Obama-era EPA regs viewed as overly restrictive on the coal industry.
Cuomo claimed that the Obama regs are “seen as key to keeping the United States from looking like Shanghai in terms of blowing all kinds of black smoke into the air.”
Cuomo’s suggestion that the Obama regs are all that stand between us and Chinese-style air pollution is absurd. Air quality in the United States was already generally good under the laws in place prior to the latest Obama regs that the Trump admin seeks to review and roll back.
Note: beyond the questionable substance of the Obama regs, the Supreme Court has called their legality into question. Last year, the Supreme Court suspended, pending lower-court review, enforcement of the EPA rule that would have shut down coal-fired plants.

But, Al Gore says……Not quite like the old E F Hutton ad. The dummies in Washington say west Texas air quality is bad because of blowing dust. cough, cough But if it keeps one crazy California liberal from unloading his/her/it’s Subaru here, then it’s well worth it. Luckily the EPA doesn’t believe in God or they would sue him.

The Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act existed WELL BEFORE OBAMA. And the regulations his administration added, as noted in the article, are A VAST OVERREACH into areas that the EPA has no authority to go, all in an attempt to use government power to control whatever they can get their tentacles into.
Cuomo is proving to be an indoctrinated tool, like his father.

This is just one of many things the left uses to control the masses. Taxes, Gun Control, monetary policy are a few more. They know how to live your life better than you.
As a child back in ’30’s & 40’s we always drew the houses in our pictures with smoke curling up from the chimneys. The local steel mill had kish flying around in the air soiling laundry hanging on the clothes lines. Those conditions were all corrected before Hussein Obama got to the mainland.
Just think of the pollution and it has been changed but global warming is getting worse?
Perhaps we’ll go back to the basic but dull stuff of cleaning up the waters and the environment and not going after a fraction of CO2 increase?
