Comeback Kid? Hillary Tells Dems: ‘I’ll be right there with you every step of the way’

Hillary urges ‘resistance’

Remember the middle-school retort when someone would promise to join in on something: “is that a promise, or a threat?” The line comes to mind upon viewing a video that Hillary Clinton put out this past Friday, aired by Morning Joe today.

After urging Dems to stay focused on future elections, she declares “let resistance plus persistence” equal progress. Clinton concludes, “I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.” Hillary puts extra emphasis on those last words: every step of the way. Every step? This is a woman who is not going away. Hillary 2020, anyone?

It was chuckleworthy to hear Hillary echoing the Dem buzzword of the day, as she urged “resistance.” The very symbol of the establishment suddenly transformed into Leader of the Resistance. Right.

Note: Hillary’s Twitter trolling of Trump on everything from the immigration order court decision, to Michael Flynn’s resignation, to his golf game, provides additional evidence of Hillary working to keep hope alive for a possible comeback.

One imagines the tweeting style of Trump and Hillary as very different. Trump, alone in the Tower, firing off tweets for better or worse. Hillary, ordering a team of staffers to prepare a tweet that is in turn reviewed by a committee, with perhaps some quick polling before it’s sent out.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Hillary Clinton tweeted out Saturday: “Congrats to DNC Chair Tom Perez and deputy Keith Ellison. Excited for strong, unified party stand for best of our country into the future.”

And on Friday, she released a video urging Democrats to stay defiant.

HILLARY CLINTON: We as Democrats must move forward with courage, confidence, and optimism, and stay focused on the elections we must win this year and next. Let resistance plus persistence equal progress for our party and our country. As long as we stand together, and work together, with respect for our difference, strength in our convictions, and love for our country, our best days are still ahead. So keep fighting, and keep the faith. And I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.

A horribly corrupt, pathological and incompetent, and a perpetual loser.

The fun will be refuting the preposterous obituary the democrat media will run with when she finally drops dead.

I’m telling ya, the Perez victory means that the Clinton Machine still controls the Dem party. Why do you think she so confidently put out that video before his election? She knew the fix was in for him.

And note how one of the first things that Perez did was to refuse to rule out another Clinton candidacy.

She’s gonna go for it, if for no other reason than she has nothing else to do with her life.

THAT will be an obituary read with GREAT DELIGHT!

That whole family is a nightmare. I’d like to see them get what they deserve, sooner rather than later.

Her health isn’t getting better. Her name recognition will not increase. Put this one out to pasture.

Well, between Hillary and Trump in the last election, she came in at second place, while Trump finished next to last.

BUUUUUUUUT she won the popular vote…or see bollocks like that!!! 🙂

With any luck Hillary, obama, and Warren will each struggle for leadership of their party over the next few years.

The good news for hillary is that if she plays it cool all of her scandals are behind her. The bad news is that if it weren’t for her scandals she would have never gotten any press. She has to be the worst candidate in American history and I don’t see her personality getting any better. Her only gambit would be to run as a one term candidate with one of the Demorat losers like Warren as her running mate. That way she would get the support of all of the pussy hats and the pro-abortion crowd plus the “Hate America” group. If they both wore hijabs during the campaign they would surely get the muslim votes. That leaves only the black and Hispanic votes. They will pull out their burning churches and deportation of families at midnight trope to secure the minority votes. After that who else is left but the regular taxpayers and they vote their wallets? She can’t lose!

“I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.”

What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?

Not to divert the thread, but this is pretty much a “must read” on Perez, a solid Obami if ever there was…

50 Shades of Benghazi

I still think she’s just trying to keep herself relevant, so she can get the pay-for-play cash cow resuscitated. She just needs the donors to think she’ll run again.

It takes a lot of money to support her & Billy Jeff’s lifestyle.

“I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.” This from the woman, the Democratic presidential candidate who lacked the courage and common decency to appear before her most loyal followers the night of their loss at the polls, sending instead one of her most loyal lackeys, who lacked himself the personal integrity to tell her that, lacking the intestinal fortitude to appear herself, she should find someone else to do the job; almost as disgraceful as Clinton herself.

The problem here is not Hillary Clinton, it’s the people who refuse to acknowledge that she is a terrible human being and that they are being used.

“The problem here is not Hillary Clinton…”

Disagree. She is a titanic democrat problem, and a gigantic Trump asset.

Plus, she’s indictable at any time.

Why bother to indict when she can be impeached for her conduct while SoS? Impeachment is not just for removal from office, but also to prevent the subject of the impeachment from holding public office in the future. A conviction can be overturned by a court, but an impeachment is forever. Together, the House and Senate are the final word on the conduct of a federal office holder. I’m not aware of any route of appeal from an impeachment conviction. And the Constitution doesn’t authorize the “unimpeachment” of someone previously convicted by the Senate. It’s the ultimate “nuclear option” against Team Clinton.

In other words: “STFU and get in line Democrats, you are stuck with her”

Trying to resist going into her Depends.

Hillary will only be a candidate if Cloning , cryogenics or taxidermy make significant advances in 4 years .
If it is cryogenics, she could run against Ted Williams , a great Republican

I just noticed , the eyes are going cockeyed again , too much Levadopa.

In Hillary’s eyes (sorry), she is the only candidate for the Presidency who the Democrats can run and expect to win, because she is the only one with the fundraising connections and popular support.

In reality, if another Dem candidate shows up who is just as reliably liberal and looks good on TV without the slime trail of the Clintons, the fundraising will switch to them almost instantly, and the popular support will follow. It won’t be Perez or Kaine, because they could not ‘camera’ their way out of a paper bag, but if the Dems can find a young and foolish minority candidate who sounds good and can be ‘fluffed’ (sorry) to an appropriate degree in public, Hillary will be lucky to speak at a Girl Scout cookie table.

I think you’re right. They’ll keep the corrupt old skank around to raise money, and then when 2020 approaches they’ll drop her like a bad habit. She’s already lost twice, they’d be nuts to run her again.

Possible silver lining: If history is any guide, her twitter account should be easy to hack.

She’s past her elect-by date.

Watching that video, I halfway expected to see Hillary launch into Marlon Brando’s “I coulda been a contendah! I coulda been somebody!” bit.

Sweet Ecstacy of St. Teresa, Trump has truly been blessed with the right kind of enemies. 😉
