Obama Will Never Leave You Alone

Obama Will Never Leave You Alone

“As I prepare to take on the even more important role of citizen”

When George W. Bush finished his second term, he quietly exited the national stage and allowed the age of Obama to begin without interference. Obama has no intention of affording his successor the same courtesy.

He is a different man than Bush. He loves the spotlight too much to leave. He also knows that the press loves him more than Trump and will run to him for comment on everything Trump does.

If you thought you were rid of Obama, guess again.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Obama: I won’t leave on Jan 20

President Obama used his final weekly address in 2016 to make it plainer than ever that he won’t retire quietly once Donald Trump is sworn in as president.

Couching his address to the nation as assurance that he will remain committed to defending the “progress” achieved by his administration, the president made it crystal clear that he intends to be a thorn in President Trump’s side after the official handover of power on Jan. 20.

Offering the clearest indication yet of his plan to be active on the political scene after he is ostensibly back in private life, Obama said Saturday, “As I prepare to take on the even more important role of citizen, know that I will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that this country forever strives to live up to the incredible promise of our founding — that all of us are created equal, and all of us deserve every chance to live out our dreams.”…

When Obama expected, and most polls indicated, that Hillary Clinton was going to win the White House, the president suggested that he looked forward to a quiet retirement. But now he says his plans have changed. The unmistakable suggestion is that Obama claims he needs to stay active to guard the nation against Trump’s predations.

Here is Obama’s final weekly address:

Twitchy has collected some responses to this:

Obama is returning to the role of community organizer. It’s the position in which he is the most comfortable and now he has the world stage.

Obama: I won’t leave on Jan 20

Good. What Obo the Clown and the DNC has been doing the last 8 years has worked so well for them, why stop now?

Hillary, too, will continue to spew hatred, to keep her fanciful hopes alive.
The longer they spout off, the better: They are preaching to an ever-diminishing choir.

The more that America hating putz runs off his mouth, the more he damages his legacy.

Why not? This petty little man will not hear criticism, if the dinosaur media reports any. He will just bask in the glow with “sycophants ‘R us”.

obama’s attempt to have a voice can be squelched very easily if Trump simply does what he said he would do. America wanted a change in direction and they voted for that. If Trump delivers, obama will be relegated to the late night talk show circuit of irrelevancy.

There is always the possibility that he and John Kerry will team up to star in the television version of Dumb and Dumber the Reality Show. They have certainly been auditioning long enough.

We have all seen Jimmy Carter these past 20+ years running around the Middle East, sticking his nose into Israel’s business.

Then the ‘global warming’ shakedown by another failure, Al Gore.

Then we have everyone’s beloved horn-dog, Bill Clinton, running around trying to act important – along with his nasty wife Hillary, a woman rejected if there ever was one.

Let’s not forget about the Ketchup King, John Kerry. Here’s a man who schemed medals in Vietnam and almost became POTUS, but for the grace of God.

Obama’s not going anywhere, if history is any indicator. He’ll carve out a niche for himself and become a man of renown. I think he’d make a great replacement for Robert Mugabe. A kingdom of his own, where he could be President for Life. Mooch and Barry would fit right in due to the corruption; hire BLM for the palace guard.

Jimmy Obama will make an even more incredible ass of himself than he has in the pas could of weeks.

The voters empowered Trump to undo Jimmy’s legacy,’ and by his refusal to fight the hook dragging him off-stage, he will become the poster-boy for conservatism.

He could have joined Carter in building houses, but if he handles as saw like he handles a baseball, he’ll cut one of his hands off. Or who knows, maybe his tongue.

Obama will talk – no one will listen.
He’ll yell – same result.
He will scream – and be ignored.

The only thing propping up this puny, miserable little man is the Office of the Presidency.

By 21 Jan 17 he’ll be a sad, punctured balloon … never to rise again.

Good riddance.

He’s too much of a narcissist to understand the meaning in the saying ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder.’ I hope he continues to make EVERYONE sick of hearing his voice and seeing his face.

Surely he will spend some time mourning at his “sons” gravesites. They were good boys……

    C. Lashown in reply to Helen. | January 1, 2017 at 2:44 pm

I’m ashamed to even think this, but I kind of pity Obama. Can anyone even for one minuet consider having nothing to do for 24/7 – and have to listen to Mooch from morning to night?

DEAR LORD, time to do a self-administered tonsillectomy with a 9mm. Two failed lawyers, cuddling up at night, recalling all their past failures! Mooch could reminisce about her WH veggie garden, which the evil Trump plowed under, while Barry could reminisce about the valor of Fidel. Good times….

The ‘community organizer’ or sh*t-disturber as my mother referred to them as are an insult to the intelligence of cogent people everywhere. Arrogant and presumptuous, (weak, really) they demand you abide by their insistence they know better than you.

In the words of the great Morris Day, “you ain’t gotta go home but you’ve gotta get the f*ck outta here”.

At least his golfing will be at someone else’s expense. His holiday vacations at someone else’s expense. He and Moochie can return to not being proud of America. His qusetionable birth certificate will not matter. His declaration as a foreign student to get a scholarship will not matter. And hopefully, within the next 4 years… anything he did will not matter.

Now the Clintons also don’t matter. it’s a two-fer!!

He will receive in excess of $200,000 per year for life at taxpayer expense. I’d say he is going to be a lot of goofing – err, golfing – with our money!

Obama has left the democrat party in shambles and he won’t be on the ballot. I am not sure how much the DNC will be wanting him around. Obama is a user and he used the Democrat party for his own purpose and to hell with his own party.

    Sorry, inadvertent down vote.

You could be a Russian hacker? ????

No one has mentioned this, but with democrat hands off the levers of power, there will be a lot of Obama’s ‘secrets’ (involving not merely his acts as president, but the hidden facts of his life) will start to leak and proliferate. Given the damage done to the corrupt media, Obama will be lucky he can find a golf course willing to let him show up.

If you think Trump’s trouncing of Clinton was fun, wait till you see this begin to manifest.

DieJustAsHappy | January 1, 2017 at 1:46 pm

I think Trump has the right approach. As he deems necessary, take to Twitter and thank Obama. Note that it is based upon eight years in the Oval Office. So, Trump will take it into consideration. Give him thanks for taking time out of his busy schedule. Signed, Love.

Then, in turn, Team Trump makes their decision as they would have normally done so.

The MSM , the pundits and the polls all say Obama’s. Approval rating is above 50%. The MSM, the pundits and the polls were so incredibly wrong about Donald Trump and the election, that I doubt Obama’s approval rating is above 25%. I don’t think anyone aside from the black community will even listen to him, let alone follow him.

Obummer has been irrelevant since the 2010 midterms, as his proclamations get reversed, along with the Dem Party. Both will continue to be irrelevant as their party morphs into the Communist Party.

As Neera Tanden, Obama’s top policy aide said of him in 2009: ” it is stunning that he’s in politics, because he doesn’t really like people… He’s like a Bill Gates who doesn’t like computers.” And that’s from a Democrat who LIKES him.

DieJustAsHappy in reply to Sally MJ. | January 1, 2017 at 2:51 pm

Pity the Secret Service agents who have to continue to protect him.

Walker Evans in reply to DieJustAsHappy. | January 1, 2017 at 5:15 pm

No, I pity the ones that are detailed to protect the ungrateful, lying, foul-mouthed Hillary! She has a documented history of berating her security that goes back at least to her time as Arkansas first lady.

DieJustAsHappy in reply to Walker Evans. | January 1, 2017 at 7:09 pm

Yes, I’ve heard that as well about Hell-ary. I think “condescending” is what has been circulated about BHO’s attitude toward the Secret Service.

Post-office, meaning post-election politics, Obama will have more flexibility (heh) and few restrictions on what he says publicly. Do we suppose his words will move right or left? Obama, aided by a fawning media, will get even nastier in his utterances and daily remind America over and over of what we do not want. Even out of office, he will continue to harm his own party with a constant stream of radical lies. Thanks, Sparky!

Present-snit Obola: Forgotten, but not gone.

here’s a nice big mig of STFU, you #SCOAMF, drink it all up then FOAD.

After listening to his first couple of speeches I routinely turned him off or muted him if he showed up in a news cast. I doubt that I’ll be changing now that he is a has been.

Henry Hawkins in reply to rabidfox. | January 1, 2017 at 5:55 pm

He’ll keep making speeches and the MSM will air them and we’ll continue to ignore them. But it will be the constant 5 second sound bites that will be hard to avoid, being half over before we realize.

Obama’s going to find out in a hard way why GWB was incredibly wise to leave Washington in 2008 and stay out of all political controversies ever since. 8 years have gone by and GWB has his private life back, and by all accounts is very happy.

Obama is going to have a front row seat to watching his “legacy” get dismantled, brick by brick, and he’s going also going to find out that, in Washington, a man with no power no longer has any friends.

The best thing he could do is say “present” whenever he’s asked a question from here on out.
Worked wonders for his career prior to the last eight years proving once again the Peter Principle is correct.

His record is awful and nobody cares what he has to say.

Obama – a turd that just won’t flush…

Modest prediction: by this time next year, Democrat pol and donor big shots will be quietly advising Obama to just STFU and stay on the golf course.

When you take into consideration that Obama’s destruction of our way of life is why we currently have a Republican majority in both houses of Congress, as well as a Republican president, I could not ask for a better political gift than our soon-to-be-former President staying in the limelight as face of the Democrat party.

And for the record, for months now Rush Limbaugh has been advising that this was Obama’s plan after he left office. He realized the true extent of Obama’s narcissism earlier than most.

If I were Trump, my first project would be to find out where Obama was on the night of 9/11/2012 while Ambassador Stephen’s body was being dragged through the streets of Benghazi? He turned up the next day in Las Vegas for a campaign event, but nobody ever found up where he went in between a lame phone call and his arrival in Vegas. Something tells me that might be just embarrassing enough to keep him silent for a while.

Well, Either prosecute him and jail him, or hold his crimes over his head…
That should keep him quiet.
