FBI Arrests Wife of Orlando Nightclub Killer in San Francisco

Noor Salman’s husband murdered 49 at an Orlando nightclub last June.

The FBI has arrested Noor Salman, the wife of Omar Mateen, who murdered 49 people at Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub.

A senior U.S. official told Fox News that the agency has “charged her in connection with the shooting rampage.”

WFTV reported:

FBI agents took Salman Mateen into custody at a home in Northern California, authorities said.

Salman Mateen is charged with obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting the attempted provision of material support to a foreign terrorist organization. Salman Mateen will be transferred from Northern California to the Middle District of Florida, the FBI said.

She is expected to face a judge Tuesday morning.

Mateen opened fire at the popular gay nightclub on June 12, 2016. Investigators interrogated Salman for hours after the attack. For the past seven months they contemplated pressing charges against her.

Salman quickly left Orlando with their four-year-old son after the attack and eventually settled in “her native California.” She spoke with The New York Times last October about their life after the attack.

We will update this post when officials release more information.

Send a message to the family and friends of these Islamic fanatics. We’re not in a forgiving mood if you look the other way and innocent people get killed.

According to CBS [normal disclaimer as to accuracy invoked by commenter] the arrest was in San Francisco. Raise your hand if surprised. Perhaps SF’s well publicized sanctuary city posture drew her there.

CBS also reports that she filed for a name change for their 4-year old son in Contra Costa County, so she claimed residence there when she filed. Co Co, as it is also known, is across the bay from SF.

I don’t think she looked the other way, she knew, gave him rides to check out the place, probably a lot more.
If she wasn’t Muslim, she would have been arrested a long time ago.

An FBI arrest is not usually made lightly. They must have strong evidence of her involvement.
