AG Giuliani? List of Trump’s Potential Cabinet Candidates

AG Giuliani? List of Trump’s Potential Cabinet Candidates

Guiliani, Newt Gingrich, and Chris Christie listed in a few top spots.

BuzzFeed has obtained a list of potential cabinet picks for President-elect Donald Trump’s administration. Sources told the publication no one has finalized the list and it may change.

But the list contains names of people who became loud vocal supporters of Trump, including Mayor Rudy Guiliani and former Speaker Newt Gingrich.

The list has fourteen departments and 41 names, but a few positions only include one possibility. For example, the list only has RNC Chairman Reince Priebus as the pick for Chief of Staff and EEOC Commissioner Victoria Lipnic for Secretary of Labor.

As BuzzFeed points out, each candidate has some experience in the department Trump has chosen for them.

Trump looks to be considering Gov. Chris Christie, who dropped out of the presidential race and immediately threw his support behind Trump, for Attorney General, Secretary of Commerce, or Homeland Security Secretary.

Dr. Ben Carson, another candidate who supported Trump after he dropped out, is listed under Secretary of Education or Secretary of Health & Human Services.

Secretary of State looks stable, with Trump considering former UN Ambassador John Bolton, Sen. Bob Corker, and Gingrich.

Department of the Interior has some very interesting choices, including former Alaska governor and VP candidate Sarah Palin. Others include Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.

Milwaukee Police Department Sheriff David Clarke joins Christie as the only pick for Secretary of Homeland Security. Clarke is currently on his fourth term as Milwaukee’s sheriff. He rose to fame when he criticized the Black Lives Matter movement and became a vocal supporter of Trump. He caused a firestorm when he told residents that calling 911 sometimes was not worth it, which of course, the left attempted to twist his words and made it sound like it was okay to put yourself in danger.

However, he was simply pointing out that it takes awhile for help to arrive so he encouraged citizens to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights if police cannot make it to the scene quick enough.

I am actually quite happy to see so many non-politicians in the running.

Please, please, please make Christie or milo yiannopoulos Press secretary!

Rumor has it that they want Christie to head up the Department of Transportation. Especially the rebuild the bridges projects.

For AG?

Gov. Chris Christie
Attorney General Pam Bondi

If either of these two gets this, Trump have fumbled the ball.

Oh no, just announce on CNN:

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gov. Chris Christie as Chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and I challenge him to raise the consciousness of all Americans on the importance of good health through physical fitness.

That is actually an appointment for Christie that I would support.

It would serve as a sarcastic commentary on the absurd notion that our federal government should ever be spending our money on such a thing.

And his physical stature would stand in testament to the proficiency with which the federal government regularly accomplishes it’s goals.

Not trying to be a jerk but Ben Carson’s doctoral credentials should be listed if you are going to list the political credentials of others. JMO

There is another person for DHS. One who is looking for a job.
Sherrif Joe.

“Banker Steven Mnuchin”

You mean Goldman-Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin…

Which I thought was disqualifying for Heidi Cruz.

Strange.

Scary part is NSA types. He seems to be universally disliked by most all of them.
Funniest thing I saw this morning was of Congressman McCaul being in the mix, LMAO, the dude supposedly to take out Cruz in 2018, LMAO.

Sheriff Clarke be-memed himself

Cynthia Loomis would make a great Sec interior. I think Ben Carson would an excellent Surgeon General.

Rudy would be perfect. He participated in a highly UNETHICAL fundraiser for the Florida A.G who was investigating Trump U.

Maybe he can put Arpaio in charge of the new prison camp we will need as Trump drains the swamp?

For the Ministry of Truth I suggest

Seanenne Hannity

Dim Jim Hoft

Matt Dirge

yes on Bolton. Bring back the ‘stache!

I imagine he’d need to clear it with Vlad first.
Russkies just now announced they has kompromat on Trump. Rumored to be pedophilia.

If you nevertrumpers try to keep this up for 4-8 years, you will have a stroke. Give it a rest. We all know how righteous you think you are. Besides, you’ll wear out your pearls if you clutch them all the time.

I have to agree with this. #NeverTrump ended Tuesday; we lost (indeed many of us ended up voting for Trump). It’s time to sit back and give the man a chance.

Should he be what #NeverTrumpers warned, it will all play out in good time. Until then, let’s give Trump some breathing room.

I was hoping to see Trey Gowdy considered for AG.

David Clarke running Homeland Security? Clarke is only a little bit politician and a whole lotta bit law enforcement officer. Clarke is an extremely blunt, results driven guy. His barely concealed contempt for weak politicians is legendary and sure to cause fireworks among the DC crowd. I’m not sure they’d know how to react to his boot buried in their ass 24/7.

Can he take his horse and cowboy hats with him?

MarkSmith in reply to Merlin. | November 10, 2016 at 4:26 pm

I say no go on Sheriff David Clarke. My Wisc. friends do not think too kindly of him. I say bring in an outside expert very strong on technology. Clark and Joe can’t bring either one of those skills to a National level.

I was hoping to see Officer Darren Wilson on the list. Imagine the screams. Once that’s through your system, then imagine George Zimmerman for Department of the Interior. HE’ll keep your neighborhood clean.

I want to see Ted Nugent in there somewhere.

I’ve got a question: has Trump given any indication on whether or not he’s going to continue the practice of appointing czars as Bush and Obama have done? As for the list: I’m ok with some of these guys being in there and a part of his cabinet. Carson I would like to see in health and human services, he would be a great choice for that spot. Cristie: while I wasn’t fond of his sucking up to Trump I have to agree he would be a good choice for AG. That position really does need someone who is pro law enforcement.

I am EXTREMELY concerned about the senators he’s listed. If they’re gone, replacing them might be a problem. If Sessions and Perdue are really good – and they are — we need them in the senate to fight against all the establishmentarians in there. God, the place reeks of them!!! I mean, McConnell is a squish. Sessions is THE man on the illegal alien invasion. Seriously…

How about Trey Gowdy for AG? Greg Lukianoff for Education? Joe Lieberman for UN Ambassador?

The Trump people are also working on their Supreme Court nominee…topping the list appears to be Justice Willett from Texas.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio for FBI Director

Bruce Hayden in reply to maxmillion. | November 10, 2016 at 7:30 pm

Nothing against Sheriff Joe, but Dir. Comey is only a couple years into a 10 year term. I think that his biggest problem was having to deal with a hyper-politicized DoJ, where the AG essentially seemed to have told him that he wouldn’t get grand juries or prosecutors from her for a Crooked Hillary’s email prosecution. Where the Clinton Foundation public corruption investigation was placed in her old EDNY district (where she had hired a number of the attys), and recently placed (Crooked Hillary campaign chair) Podesta close friend Asst AG Peter Kadzik over it.

Kellyanne Conway for White House Twitter Inhibitor/T-rump Suppressor.

Team Trump has a website https://www.greatagain.gov/
There’s into regarding the new administration, its early focus, news, etc.

And the Trump Transition Team opened a “suggestion box” on twitter

Near the bottom of the home page there is a a place to share ideas about how to make America great again. It will be interesting to see how the new administration makes use of social media.

Thanks Philly. I put in my idea about term limits for Federal Employees.

It’s the only way to get rid of the rot. We could elect another Reagan and it wouldn’t make a difference, because these life-long leftist statist bureaucrats would simply ignore him and push their own agenda.

Consider the full frontal bias we saw from the MSM during this election. Now imagine they are the filling the SES slots and everything GS9 and above at IRS, VA, Justice, etc. That’s what we are dealing with.

Cycle them out and replace them with Americans who have lived in the real world. Life-time appointments in the government (because its almost impossible to fire them) is a recipe to boil Liberty alive.

If Pat McCrory ends up losing his re-election bid in North Carolina, is there a spot in Trump’s administration for him?

Justice Cruz.

PhillyGuy in reply to Fen. | November 11, 2016 at 10:36 am

It will be a cold day in hell when President Trump does that.

Fen in reply to Fen. | November 11, 2016 at 10:38 am

Notice our two Moby’s (Rag and his sockpuppet) are downvoting the simple suggestion that Ted Cruz would make an outstanding Supreme Court Justice.

This is who they are. Why can’t they come out and argue their case? Why hide behind the vote ticker (which should ditched). Why pretend to be something you are not in the comments?

Bad Omen. Chuck Norris didn’t make the list.

There are better choices for all the cabinet positions if you start by ignoring the fame of the individual and look at actual accomplishments instead.

Not that I don’t like the picks mentioned above, but really, we can do far better.

Esp. with Giuliani – maybe decades ago when he was at the top of his game. But, he hasn’t been anything but a talking head for a long time now.

PhillyGuy in reply to Aarradin. | November 11, 2016 at 10:38 am

Giuliani will be in the administration. He’s already authorized to receive top secret briefings.

Interesting rumor I heard was Richard Grenell for UN Ambassador

Everyone forgot dog-catcher.

I nominate Boehner.
