The more Wikileaks dumps Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s emails the more we lear just how deep the cover-up goes for a supposed no big deal incident. We have also learned that quite a few on her side knew the private email system was a big deal and expressed frustration with those who brushed it aside.

The loudest critic has to be Neera Tanden, CEO of Center for American Progress, who has railed against Hillary’s private email system. In an email leaked today she said:

Tanden Hillary Email

Earlier this week, Tanden told Podesta that Hillary’s aides did not want to turn over anything because “they wanted to get away with it.” She then told Podesta that if the archives request the emails, Hillary complies immediately and therefore avoids subpoenas.

Tanden tells Podesta not to yell at her.

She also implied to Podesta that aid Cheryl Mills was behind the mess:

FOX 17 reported that an email exchange showed that Podesta didn’t even know how many people knew about the email system:

On March 2, Podesta wrote to current Campaign Manager Robby Mook asking if Mook had “any idea of the depth of this story?”

“Nope. We brought up the existence of emails in research this summer but were told that everything was taken care of,” Mook wrote back at 1:32 a.m. on March 3.

Podesta also wrote to Tanden airing his concerns on March 2, the day the story about Clinton’s private email account broke.

“Speaking of transparency, our friends [attorney David] Kendall, Cheryl and Phillipe [Reines] sure weren’t forthcoming on the facts here,” Podesta wrote.

Last week, I found an email exchange between members of Hillary’s campaign discussing how to plant a story with friendly reporters at the Associated Press.

The email leaks have also shown that President Barack Obama knew about Hillary’s private email system even though he told CBS News twice that he only learned about it through news reports like the rest of the world.

Yet, the FBI’s investigation notes showed that Obama used a pseudonym in his emails to Hillary. Aide Huma Abedin told the FBI the president can only receive emails FROM APPROVED ADDRESSES. They had to inform the White House when Hillary changed her private email address so that way her communications would get through the server.
