Planned Parenthood is trafficking in baby body parts

Pro-life undercover group Center for Medical Progress has released a new sting video showing Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing in excruciating detail how she sometimes performs illegal late-term abortions while retrieving fetal body parts.
You’re not having a nightmare—this is real.

The buyers ask Nucatola, “How much of a difference can that actually make, if you know kind of what’s expected, or what we need?”
“It makes a huge difference,” Nucatola replies. “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”
Nucatola explains, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
“And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex,” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”
Pro-life activists are calling on Congress to investigate this hellish scenario:
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, tells LifeNews he is also calling on Congress to get involved.

“This activity violates state and federal laws that prohibit the sale of human body parts. Moreover, this new evidence shows that Planned Parenthood is still using the partial-birth abortion procedure, which has also been banned by law at the state and federal level,” he continued.
“We therefore call on Congress to investigate this activity and to stop federal funding of Planned Parenthood. Moreover, we call on the United States Senate to vote on and pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which will protect many of the babies whose bodies are being cut up and sold in this manner,” Fr. Pavone said.
Jim Sedlak, vice president at American Life League, joined the call for a Congressional investigation.
“Given the fact that the harvesting of baby parts is done at Planned Parenthood centers and these centers receive $400 million in Medicaid reimbursements each year, as an initial step, Congress should immediately suspend all Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood. Americans do not want their tax money going to an organization engaged in the trafficking of baby body parts,” he said.
Make no mistake—this is war, and the pro-abortion propaganda machine is running a full court press against the very idea that women should second-guess themselves when considering abortion. A new (and highly disputed) study released by the PLOS ONE academic journal claims that 95% of women do not regret their decision to have an abortion; the study was passed around and hailed by liberal blogs before being picked up by mainstream media outlets.
This is how they do it. One of the most effective arguments against choosing abortion is that the emotional after effects far outweigh the fear and anxiety associated with an unplanned pregnancy. Now, we have a culturally-comfortable study assuring us that that couldn’t possibly be the case—everything is fine. Choice is best. Even Nancy Pelosi hangs out with Planned Parenthood royalty—how bad could they possibly be?
This isn’t just a movement; this is evil. Will the world recognize that?

You don’t have to convince me, BUT the entire Democratic Party holds as self-evident truth that unborn children are not people. It’s been more central to their ideology than the Declaration of Independence for 40 years.
And with a pro-abortion, with no restrictions even on partial birth abortion like Trump now leading the GOP field, just how sacred do any of us still hold life to be?
This is NOT “capitalism”. This is inhumanity.
To see and hear a medical doctor talk so casually about harvesting baby parts to sell to researchers, just one of many revenue streams for Planned Parenthood, is about as sick as it gets. To see and hear her do so while eagerly wolfing down a salad in a public restaurant is absolutely horrifying.
Planned Parenthood just needs to be shut down.

I agree, but we forget that according to Planned Parenthood, a fetus is not a “human”. It is not a “person”. It has no rights, no dignity. To PP, it is just a bundle of cells — or worse yet, a “parasite”.
Never mind that it has human DNA (half of which belongs to the uterus-owner*), has a functioning nervous system capable of feeling pain, and actively tries to escape being aborted.
These people** are monsters.

I try to be fair and when I first saw this story I thought we should know whether this was PP policy or just one PP clinic that does this, and if the latter, what would the national office say and/or do about it?
Turns out this was not just some staffer in some clinic somewhere. this is a senior official. PP’s statement says that the tissue is donated so the fetus carrier is aware of what’s going on. It is a legitimate point and should be investigated. But on the evidence so far, this looks like an astonishingly brutal and disgusting situation.
I’d also want to know whether there is a functional difference between “donations” and “sale.” That might…might…affect the legal question. However, we do know that in some areas PP is not fussy about following the law.
Sexual intercourse with a fourteen year old girl is a felony in every state as far as I know. PP will perform abortions on such girls without parental permission or notification. They do not to my knowledge report this clear evidence of a felony.
There is also a duty to report a felony generally and the evidence is that at least the local PP knew about Gosnell’s clinic and what went on there but did not report it.
PP has a better PR firm than Gosnell had.
I know from recent press releases that PP has stated that they don’t “sell” body parts rather they are “donated”. Yet in the video they talk about how much for certain organs. This strikes me as proof of an outright lie, and I am wondering if the lawyers here had any insight on the law regarding this issue. When I had my child my Ob asked me if I would donate the afterbirth (I bank my children’s cordblood so that was the only tissue available). I was willing and had to sign a form which stated what was being donated and that the doctor would be using it for research only and that no money would change hands in regard to my donation. If this is required, where are PP’s forms and why the discussion of money changing hands? My doctor gave me the impression that neither he or I could gain funds for the “tissue” and that informed consent was legally required.

This is the kind of society you can expect from the absence of religion. There are those who will argue that morality cam and does exist out side of religion but what is that morality based on? The liberals that run PETA have more concern for chickens than they do for human babies.
Planned parenthood complained about giving ultrasound images to the mothers before the abortion though it is now clear that they have the machines on the premises. They can find a diabolical use for any thing.
Funny how that “clump of cells” suddenly becomes hearts and livers once there is money to be made.
Somehow I can close my eyes and see a Dr. Mengele sitting down with Herr Speer over a bottle of fine claret and a hearty meal of roast beef, discussing the finer points of efficient harvesting of specimens for the good doctor’s use.

Glad to see the outrage. Let me take it one step further. “Researchers” in the 70’s acquired unborn kids from moms who had rubella. It took a lot of tries, but one dead baby finally hosted the virus “successfully.” The result is contained in the vaccine known as the MMR, R for rubella. Now the gov’t wants to force me to shoot that dead baby pus into my kids.
How many other common pharma and biotech products are made from murdered babies? Will the outrage follow up? That’s the rest of the story.
Someone pointed this out, and they are right. The underlying practice, abortion, is common to an industry, which serves a market. While this is notable, it exists in some black market form throughout the world. But even more damning, is the political, economic, and social web that first legalized, then normalized the practice. This represents, not an unprecedented, but an extraordinary breakdown of civilization, which was made all the more tolerable when committed in a private sanctuary.
