The Benghazi open wound

The Benghazi open wound

Some developments today.

And as usual, Fox News is driving the media investigations.

Obama administration officials threatened whistle-blowers on Benghazi, lawyer  says

At least four career officials at the State Department and the Central  Intelligence Agency have retained lawyers or are in the process of doing so, as  they prepare to provide sensitive information about the Benghazi attacks to  Congress, Fox News has learned.

Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official and Republican  counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee, is now representing one of the  State Department employees. She told Fox News her client and some of the others,  who consider themselves whistle-blowers, have been threatened by unnamed Obama  administration officials.

“I’m not talking generally, I’m talking specifically about Benghazi – that  people have been threatened,” Toensing said in an interview Monday. “And not  just the State Department. People have been threatened at the CIA.”

Special operator claims US could have intervened in Benghazi

Why is Fox News in the lead?

Because since Benghazi broke, Dead Ambassador dragged through streets, MSM furious at Romney criticism of Obama, including coordinating questions:

Correction…. Ambassador SODOMIZED and THEN dragged through the streets. Oh heck, what difference, at this point, does it make?

Impeach the CIC.

How is the left going to pin this on Bush?

Thank you to the brave source. Maddening. Frustrating. Please keep publicizing and pushing this story, Professor.

This is probably the biggest “media crime” I’ve seen in my lifetime.

I’d like to think they lay awake at night, squirming, as they hope beyond hope this “thing” goes away…

However, they probably tuck themselves in with the thought “As long as we roll with Obama, nothing can touch us.”

As long as Obama doesn’t look bad, nothing matters, and certainly not a sodomized, murdered, and dragged through the street by terrorists American ambassador.

It is good that someone is leading the way on this matter, keeping it alive, and it is Fox that would be expected to do so. In fact, other than to criticize Fox, there is no reason to expect any other print or broadcast outlet to even show up.

The sad fact is that Congress should be leading the way and Fox and the media should be reporting on its progress. Hearings, subpoenas, FOIA requests, excuses, delays, sixty or seventy “missing” witnesses, a little letter writing campaign – all the usual Washington circus performances.

Once again the administration thumbs its nose at our laws, a toothless, frightened Congress, and the entire naation. By now people should have been fired, impeached, arrested, dragged out of hiding, jailed; and the man who’s in jail in California for making a video less troublesome than can be seen on any network TV broadcast any night of the week should be apologized to by the administration on prime time national TV.

But, THERE WILL BE NO CONSEQUENCES.

It is disgusting.

Thing is, when you spend all your time and effort hiding, and lying about what you’ve done, you tend not to learn from it.

Benghazi II, Syria edition, coming soon to theaters near you…

One can only hope this is the chink in the corrupt armor that brings this administration to its knees.

Something has to give if we are to be saved…

America needs to hear what the whistle blowers have to say and the leadership in the House needs to act on this with speed and serious intent. If they want to continue acting like squishes they need to step down and get out of the way of the serious non-compromised Republicans and any patriotic Democrats, if they exist. I smell rats and not just in the infested White House.
While America awaits this testimony, we citizens need to consider how we can best clean up Washington of the traitors and fellow travelers (Media traitors included).

I can’t remember the last time a member of this administration told the truth about anything.

    Darkkan,

I can’t even remember the FIRST TIME a member of this administration told the truth about anything. lol

Perhaps they have NEVER ever told the truth about anything -so there has never been a “first time?”

Obama and his criministration are “Truth Virgins” – they’ve never had a “Truthful Experience” in their lifes – not even the first time!

That’s my opinion and I’m sticking it to them!

Video of Live Action’s President Lila Rose talking about her organizations shocking abortion videos that have just been released:

This…as I’ve said…is not ONE scandal.

It is a SERIES of scandals, all properly sitting in Obama’s lap, but involving State, Defense, and intelligence.

And Obama went to bed. So he was fresh to play with JZ and Bounce-ie at his fund-raiser.

Any other president would be destroyed.

As a former military person and then a “Fed” I can tell anyone interested that “whistle-blowing” is a firing offense, sometimes a punishable offense, if you are caught. You must make sure what you are doing is not treasonous or otherwise illegal, and obviously serves a greater purpose than just your own personal interests. You’d better know that you have support among ethical others in your field. Of course, discharge is cloaked in various spurious details, most untrue, and character assassination is de rigueur, but when you decide to blow the whistle on something, you’re deciding to quit your career if you can’t protect your identity. On major issues, such as Benghazi, that is nearly impossible….however, in such cases Benghazi, it is the only way you will ever hear the truth.

As of this morning, the CBS morning show is still whitewashing (can we still say that?) the whistleblower aspects of the story, merely reporting that the situation has still not been clarified after 8 months, and that the FBI still can’t get access to the three individuals that were pictured holding guns outside the embassy in its defense.
