Unlike other groups, white men are not used to being singled out. So we expect that many of them will protest it is unfair if we talk about them. ….
What facets of white male culture create so many mass shootings?
Why are so many white men and boys producing and entertaining themselves with violent video games and other media?
Why do white men buy, sell and manufacture guns for profit; attend gun shows; and demonstrate for unrestricted gun access disproportionately more than people of other ethnicities or races?
Why are white male congressmen leading the fight against gun control?

The anti-gun folks for some reason always seem to forget about the Virginia Tech shooter (Or, in one case I remember, labeled him as an honorary white person since he didn’t come from an oppressed minority). Of course John Muhammed doesn’t count as a ‘mass shooter’ since his killings didn’t all occur on the same day. Also ‘failed mass shooters’ (many of them minorities) don’t count since some evil gun carrying person stopped them before they could rack up a score.

It doesn’t bother me to talk about race in relation to murders and victims and I’m white. But, it appears to bother Harriet and Charlotte to single out black men and discuss their penchant for murder which is 6x white men.
Here are some FBI crime stats from 2011 –
Blacks were 12.6% of the population (2010) and were responsible for 49.7% of “Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter” for the year (4,149 of 8,341). Whites were 72.4% of population (2010) and were responsible for 48.0% of “Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter” for the year (4,000 or 8,341). Hispanics are grouped in the white category for FBI stats.
I don’t expect the Childress twins will address the #1 murder threat in the U.S. unless they can find a way to blame white men in the process.

It’s worth noting that evolutionary fitness is not a property associated with a species, but of individual life forms, who in sufficient numbers are capable of dominating their competing interests.

This piece was written to be picked up by TPM, HuffPo, Kos, and so on. It makes progressives feel good about themselves and it has the stamp of WaPo on it.

Of course they fail to mention that most of the mass shooters are suffering from serious mental illnesses, or that suicide rates among white men are much higher than any other demographic group in society. Could it possibly be society that’s to blame?
The free-way snipers of 10 or so years ago in VA and DC and MD were BLACK. The VA Tech shooter was oriental. The I95 serial killers were women. It think the WaPo article was pointless.
There is none of the “racism” about which the Looney Left continually accuses us, so they have to manufacture the next best thing: Thug Equality. By creating an imaginary white thuggery, the damage done to society by the hip-hop, largely African-American “thug life” is somehow mitigated.
Or, as they’d say at a Hollywood party or at a dinner on the upper east side, “The white working class is just as crime prone as any protected class, but the racist legal system and Fox News sees to it that only poor minorities are incarcerated.”

On Combat Arms, a free to play online FPS, there’s a growing number of decidedly female voices. There’s plenty of Spanish speakers and even a large “Urban” contingent. I suspect that the writers of this piece have no idea of who’s playing what and are using surveys from 10 years ago.
The leftist media are past innuendo, past spin, past data-selection, and are now simply making shit up. Propanganda, pure and undiluted.
I’m a forensic psychologist, the intersect between criminality and mental illness. Race prevalence among mass or serial killers generally and consistently follows the proportions of the overall population. If you have a society that is 50% white, 30% black, and 20% Hispanic, your mass and serial killers will follow the same general percentages. The race with the highest percentage of the overall population will always have the highest percentage of mass and serial killers, averaged over time. There have been prolific mass and serial killers from every race.
That data set is apart from and unrelated to gang killings, which are born of something other than mental illness – drug business, poverty, ignorance, cultural/peer pressure, whatever, but they are not mentally ill. Such violence is the norm for their subculture, just as it is with the Mafia, and other forms of organized crime.
Take away the psychotic killers and the murderous-but-sane gangbanger and Mafia killers, and you have a chaotic mishmash of impulse/emotional killings, whether by jealous spouse, drunken rager, drug-desperate robber/burglar, etc. These too follow the general race percentages of the overall population. Along with the black kids in the city robbing folks, there are white kids in the suburbs and out in the country with crystal meth, coke, and oxycontin habits to finance, also robbing and burglarizing – and killing.
Our public education system is failing to educate and seeking to indoctrinate, followed by a leftist media increasingly putting out nothing but propaganda, and the result is a country of know-nothings.

Jiverly Antares Wong – Vietnamese immigrant. Shot up the American Civic Center in Binghampton NY, 2009. Killed 13 and self.
James Edward “Pop” Pough – Black. Killed nine people and wounded four others in a GMAC loan office in Jacksonville, Florida, before committing suicide, 1990. The day before he had killed a prostitute and her pimp, wounded two teenagers and robbed a convenience store.
Jeffrey James “Jeff” Weise – Ojibwe Indian. Murdered a total of nine people in a shooting spree, 2005. He first killed his grandfather and his grandfather’s companion before going to the reservation high school, where he murdered seven more people and wounded five others.
One L. Goh – Korean American. Oikos University shooting, 2012, killed 7.
Tyrone Mitchell – Black. Killed two people and wounded twelve others shooting at students leaving 49th Street Elementary School, LA, 1984.
So much for the ‘white’ part of the propaganda. I could fill up another page with women killers – of multiple races.
Sadly progressives believe, like all small undisciplined children and the writers of this WaPo article, that if you can denigrate someone else through projection you can then believe that you put yourself in a better place, on higher ground. Those they denigrate readily become scapegoats for all of their troubles and the troubles of others (they need others to side with them in their lie.)
This is more of not wanting to take responsibility for your own lives and wanting BO and Big Brother to make things “fair.” Little children always cry “not fair!”
This article was also probably meant to win some points for the writers within their cocktail circuit jerk. And, it also serves Barrack’s “Demonize, Divide and Denounce America Campaign” – more insecure bully kid behavior.
