This video of Dr. Benjamin Carson, Sr. speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast is getting attention.

If you’re looking for positive reinforcement, you’ll be cheering Dr Carson’s courage to take it to the leftist-in-chief.

The action got hot at the 18:00 mark, when he brought up the national debt and misplaced notions of tax fairness and taxing the rich.  By the time he got to health savings accounts, when The One was not laughing any more.

What an awful contrast in that one frame!

Dr. Carson DID build that. He is one of the leaders world-wide in his field, and he got there via excellence in his work.

He doesn’t seem willing to cross the ballroom to take anything from anyone else.

And then there is Pres. Not Optimal…

Talk about speaking truth to power.

What a courageous speech – Dr. Carson is everything that Barry O’Traitor is not, and never ever could be.

Kind of like watching Holy water being splashed upon a demon, isn’t it?

I watched it twice last night. Kirsten Powers was griping about this speech on Twitter earlier. I am a bit surprised by that since she was cheering Eric Metaxas’ speech last year. I thought he hit Obama pretty hard in his speech too.

I watch this during the middle of the night and to me the best part was watching the anointed one squirm. O’bammy definitely was not comfortable as he did not applaud when the audience did on numerous occasions.

I guess that the truth really hurts especially when it is delivered by a conservative black guy who “left the plantation…”

I watched this last night and loved it. Loved the good Doctor’s inspirational life story and love for America.

Haven’t seen that stiff, uncomfortable, deer-in-the-headlights look on Obama’s face since the time Bibi Netanyahu completely schooled him, and Obama had nowhere to hide with the cameras rolling.

Schadenfreude City, here we come! I just wish that when Dr. Carson finished that Bibi had made a surprise appearance with a speech … I don’t think Obama could’ve taken much more without losing his cool.

That speech, Ladies and Gentlemen, puts a lie to the work product of the Democratic Party over the last dozen years. Brilliant!

I just recently watched a movie about him: Gifted Hands, The Ben Carson Story. I highly recommend it. He was raised by a mother who had a tremendous amount of faith in him and his brother and made them work very hard in school. They didn’t have it easy. He had to overcome many obstacles to become a neurosurgeon. He became famous for separating conjoined twins at their heads.

I wish I had Dr. Carson’s optimism. When he talked about education I think he forgot about the unions and are resistant to any change that will affect their power.

Obama was wondering where was the ESPN guy cuz Obama knows he doesn’t want to hang out with Dr. Carson. He had his hand over his mouth so nobody could lip read “cornball….”

I just got a telephone call Rand Paul’s organization. Would people please join me in letting fellow conservatives know that this is just not the time to start a fight in Congress to attempt to overturn Roe v. Wade by legally defining the fetus as a “person”? Not only is this approach inefficacious (corporations also are “persons” under the law), it’s just not what we should be focusing on right now at the federal level. Time and resources are scarce. There are so many pressing issues. On its own, abortion politics probably diverted enough men and especially women from voting Tea Party to explain why we lost in the last election.

    If a fetus is not a person, just exactly what is it? A butterfly, perhaps, or a daisy?

    We are nothing as a society if we do not protect the next generation, from their very start.

    Remember, part of the downfall of ancient Rome was the fact that if a woman had a girl, she would throw it, alive, into the street’s garbage pile to die. It did not take long before there were not enough women to continue to Roman society. We are rapidly becoming the modern Rome when it comes to children. If a person has no value before they are born, it is only a matter of time before they have no value after they are born.

      I would so much prefer we continue to lead by example in lieu of doing anything legislatively re: abortion. We will not win this battle legislatively!!!

      A fetus is human life. Period. A “person” is a legal concept. It is a term that also applies to corporations.

    When will be the time for the United States to adhere to the principles enshrined in its founding documents: ‘right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”?

    If human beings have no natural right to life that we should not aggressively defend, then we are not free because government is the arbiter of our fate. If we have no natural right to life, then government is free to do what it will to us: kill us in the womb or enslave us. Therefore, the right to life, the defense of life in the womb is the right based upon natural law and upon which all our other God-given rights hinge.

    If we are not born, then we cannot know freedom, and we cannot pursue happiness. Therefore the people and government that refuse to defend life, that aggressively promote abortion are willing to accept slavery, physical and spiritual, for death by abortion is the ultimate bondage.

    Our national charter, The Declaration of Independence, defines a human life and when rights are accorded.

    We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

    The Supreme Court in Roe vs Wade ruled contrary to the law of the land. They could at best, under the Fourteenth Amendment, decide that a life could be take with sufficient cause and following due process. They have no right under our law, and a woman has no right under our law, to capriciously take the life of another human being, whether in the mother’s womb or outside. It is, in fact, a commission of premeditated murder, and is a crime committed again an individual and society as a whole. Elective abortion serves to devalue human life.

    We can argue whether “creation” refers to biological conception or conscious conception (i.e. emergent), but there is no other legitimate argument to be made under our law, under universal human rights, and under a commonly understood morality.

    Both women, and men, must be responsible for their voluntary behavior. Liberty is only suitable for individuals capable of self-moderating behavior.

    It has been a selective rule of law which caused so much misery for so many people in our nation.

    It is dissociation of risk which causes corruption. It is dreams of instant (or immediate) gratification which motivates its progress. Money is not the root of all evil in our world. It is one of three desires, including: material, physical, and ego.

What a small man is Obama next to a giant of a man – Dr. Ben Carson. Dr. Carson has more grace and intelligence in his little toe than Obama and Michelle together. What a small man. What a sorry excuse for a so called “leader”.

I don’t think Obama knows what hit him.

But, because Obamer is sooo competitve he will probably now give a speech saying that he put millions of people on food stamps so they can be educated by the main stream media and the teacher’s union. (clap clap little people)

Like watching a bored child at a Bar Mitzvah — who doesn’t understand what’s being said.

I hope the good Doctor’s tax returns are up to date for the last 7 years or so. You can bet there are half a dozen IRS agents examining them right now.

Dr. Carson is a very impressive gentleman. That was a spectacular speech.

Dr. Carson is proof that poverty should only be a temporary condition. He got where he is because he applied himself, he worked 13 hours a day and he never decided that it was someone else’s responsibility to provide for him.

I loved the part where he compared having an education to being able to sink a basket (hit to Obama’s left jaw, perhaps?).

He, not the juiced up NFL/NBA players and disgusting rap artists, should be the role model for every black child in America.

Listening to the update video. Why CAN’T we have a man like this for our president?!

PC is progressive corruption. People should not be silenced for the most selective and capricious of reasons.

Treat symptoms. Address causes.

Neither redistributive nor retributive change, neither progressive nor regressive, but liberty and justice for all.

We recognize individual dignity. We acknowledge the intrinsic value of a developing human life from conception to grave. We promote the general Welfare.

I like this guy. He’s my kind of guy. Someone with whom I would readily share a journey.

Anyway, there has been a dearth of inspiration for far too long in America and in the world. We need people who will not only lead, but remain humble alongside the people they serve, and alongside the people with whom they were created equal.

Would it be overly presumptive to nominate Dr. Carson for President of the United States of America? From this half hour speech, his true nature is exposed and found to be superior.

As I watched and listened, Obama got smaller and smaller and fainter till he finally disappeared leaving nothing behind but Eastwood’s empty chair.

With this video loose on the innertubes, I think the Doc will be just fine. I also think every conservative organization and media outlet in America will soon have this guy front and center if he’ll do it.

Dr. Carson joins Dr. Eben Alexander as being a world class neurosurgeon who has faith in God. Dr. Alexander wrote the New York Times bestseller, “Proof of Heaven”, after his near death experience. Dr. Alexander is a graduate of Duke Medical School, practices at Massachusetts General and teaches at Harvard Medical.

Then there’s Alexander Tsiaras who describes in this video how incomprehensibly complex all the “systems” are that come together and work flawlessly to form a human life, starting at conception. He comes perilously close to conceding that life is so complex it almost has to be the result of a divine power. I don’t think he is a neurosurgeon, but he’s clearly a man highly educated in science.

Dr. Carson came to my small town about 10 years because the school district was concerned about the 60% dropout rate. They bought thousands of his book “Healing Hands” and he spoke not only to the high schools but also some elementary schools(his fee was very small, and his schedule was very full). He is a true patriotic Christian neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine who pioneered separating the skulls of conjoint twins. His mother was a maid with a third grade education, they didn’t have projects housing back then so they lived in the real Detroit ghetto. I will never forget his anecdote of surgery on a premature baby and he couldn’t see the blood vessel so he prayed and asked the Lord to guide his hand and then successfully ligated the blood vessel without seeing it.
God bless Dr. Carson for inspiring my town’s students and for confronting Teh Won.

Too bad there isn’t a minority somewhere that could use an excellent role model.

While it is disturbing to see how Obama squirms and checks his Blackberry while Carson speaks, it is a perfect picture of how Obama governs.

If you don’t like what I say, then your point can’t be valid, therefore I ignore you, dismiss you, then, mock you.

This book was promoted by the left and pushed in schools as inspiration to black children. It was a hit first in Christian circles, but the Left did not know that. They just saw black successful man; must be on our side. I think perhaps the O-team invited Dr. Carson for the very same reason, invited him because of his color (racist, of course), and the Mr. and Mrs. Dear Leader were genuinely surprised by the ‘traitor’. I don’t think it occurs to them that not all blacks subscribe to their crap. If anyone on the team had done their homework beyond color of skin, they would have expected nothing less than what Dr. Carson delivered. Wouldn’t it be great if all his books were sold out within days and had to go into another printing?

This book was a favorite of one of my kids. He loved it. It was one of his alltime favorite story. It inspired him AS A PERSON TO BE A MAN OF CHARACTER, even thought he is white.

    Then Dr. Carson would be pleased. Notice how he never speaks of color? He talked about helping kids. Even when he spoke of slavery, he still doesn’t mention race or color. That liberates him in a way Obama cold never understand.

Thanks for the heads up on Alexander Tsiarras. I found him on TED. Unfortunately, Carson is not there.

Dr. Carson is a true American Patriot, whose words are of Truth, Righteousness, and Courage. All of which Obama sat bitterly hating every words Dr. Carson spoke, because he hates America, he hates Freedom and Liberty, he hates the US Constitution for We the People- ie; He, Obama, hates We the People.

Why- because he is not an American. He’s an anti-American / liberal Socialist Marxist islamist, whose agenda is the internal destruction of America, our Free Market Capitalist system of Economy, our U.S. Constitution / Law of the Land, our Freedom and Liberty, our Democracy, our Independence as a Nation, via our massive natural resources of energy for which his why he has shut down as many coal, oil, and gas production and supply companies as he legally can, trying to replace it with ineffective, unfeasibly applied wind and solar BS, aka Obama and the left’s green energy ruse.. As well as Dr. Carson stated issue with our Education system- Obama has federally mandated to replace with dumb down minimal academic courses and subversive propaganda.

And finally our U.S. Military, for which has been the one thing that has kept the tyrannical evil powers in the world from succeeding in exerting their control over the Western Free World and all free people of the world. Why do you think Obama has ordered the rapid reduction of our U.S. Military, it’s personnel, equipment, arsenal, it’s ability to fight and wage war on 2 or 3 fronts at once. And the most egregious of all, his order to destroy half of our U.S. nuclear deterrent arsenal/warheads, and it’s delivery systems, ie; submarines, land based ICBM missiles and sites, etc..

This is what Obama meant when he said to Putin, he will have more flexibility after his re-election- ie; the impotency of America, via the weight and burden of massive fiscal and financial debt, and the dissolving of our U.S. Military to the point of just being a hollow shell of illusion of a hollow superpower is Obama’s #1 goal.

This is what parasites-(in this case, political and social parasites) do to a healthy whole body, it destroys it from the inside- eating away til there’s nothing is left but the shell.
