You can make this stuff up

You can make this stuff up

And still be right.

Via Ed Driscoll:

In the illustration above, the Newsweek cover on the left was mocked-up by the Photoshop artists at National Review to accompany a 2009 satire by Rob Long titled, “A Conversation from Heaven,” regarding what Bernard Goldberg might call Newsweek’s “Slobbering Love Affair” between themselves and Mr. Obama. (Although given The Won’s Hindenburg-sized ego and Titanic-sized aloofness, presumably the affair is largely unrequited.)

On the right, is the real thing. Of course, as Newsbusters notes today, it’s merely replaying former Newsweek editor Evan Thomas’s assertion in 2009 that “In a way, Obama’s standing above the country, above — above the world. He’s sort of God.”

The proof of Muggeridge’s Law…

which Rush is constantly demonstrating.

Nobody can “out-absurd” the Collective. They simply kan’t hep it…as Anne Richards would say.

Obama and sycophants like Newsweek always speak for us, but are usually wrong.

After Sandy Hook … “America demands gun control”

After Obama’s reelection “America expects”

Biden met with a bunch of gun control advocates to come out and tell us what we want. America doesn’t want gun control, heath care control, or Obama to act as our god and King. We want them to be public SERVANTS.

And hey, teacher, leave those kids alone. (and at least carry strong pepper spray if you’re in charge of protecting the kids, and some one or three should be carrying)

None of my old classmates on Facebook ever answered me a few years ago when I asked the question,

“What makes you think that an inexperienced guy who was completely undistinguished as a mere state senator with a mediocre record at best … is going to save the world?”

It’s very rare for a President to be reelected by a smaller margin than he first won by. Obama did it. As I’ve posted before, we should keep reminding him—and the country—of the reduction in confidence.

An honest title would be something like “With Reservations”.

A brutally honest title would be “Republican Incompetence”.

I meant, of course, the title of the Newsweek cover, not the title of this post.

What’s more amazing – that they did as expected and added to the cult of Obama? Or that they don’t know they should be embarrassed about it?

The pre-teen girls who worship Justin Bieber are probably more restrained in expressing their passion for their idol, than the MSM who cover Barry Obama. It’s beyond parody.

…and..How about Billy the Rapist Clinton as Father if the Year?? Gotta be Parody..right…right…?

Nope: REALITY.

For the second time President Barack Obama will not attend an Inaugural event ball held to recognize Medal of Honor recipients.

…Obama was criticized by some four years ago when he became the first President to skip the American Legion’s Salute to Heroes ball since it was first held in 1953.

Now, if anyone had predicted THAT in 2007, they would be…

well…racists.

The “secular” fanatics place their faith with mortal gods, to fulfill dreams of material, physical, and ego gratification, through redistributive and retributive change. They too will be sacrificed to appease the narcissism of their degenerate gods.

How women will save Europe? By having babies. Nah, that can’t be it. It doesn’t fit the Newspeak Narrative.

On the right, is the real thing.

Objection. Newsweek, not being in print anymore, does not have a cover to speak of. This is just a piece of idol worship that found its way to the Daily Beast website.
