Palestinian culture of incitement is the core problem

Palestinian culture of incitement is the core problem

We have known for decades that Palestinian leaders talk out of both sides of their mouths, a message of relative restraint to the West and a message of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli agitation at home.

Hamas is more honest than the Palestinian Authority, as it has a unified message of hate.

Now that Mahmoud Abbas is being feted in the capitals of Europe, it’s important to understand that at home the Palestinian Authority incitement is as virulent as ever. Via Israel Matzav:

Strategic Affairs Ministry Director General Yossi Kupperwasser told the cabinet on Sunday that ‘Palestinian’ incitement – as reflected in the incitement index – is worse than ever.

Kuperwasser was asked to give a briefing on the “incitement index” following Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s speech to the UN General Assembly on Thursday. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu termed that speech, where Abbas painted Israel in demonic colors, as “dripping with poison.”

Commenting after Kuperwasser presented his quarterly findings, Netanyahu said “this is additional proof that we are not talking about a disagreement over territory, rather about the rejection of Israel’s existence.”

Netanyahu said the failure of the Palestinians to accept Israel’s existence within any border is the “root of the conflict.” He said Palestinian maps consistently showing “Palestine” as the entire area from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean illustrates proves a lack of acceptance of Israel’s right to exist.

Kuperwasser presented the cabinet with a power point presentation called the Culture of Peace and Incitement index in the PA.” …

Via Israel National News:

Kuperwasser presented a number of items that illustrated the PA’s incitement. Among the items was a Facebook page sponsored by a school in Kalkilya, which included anti-Israel and anti-Jewish pictures and photos. The page is titled “I hate Israel.” In another Facebook page sponsored by a Tulkarem school, quotes from Hitler and other Jew haters are prominently listed. The quote attributed to Hitler stated: “I could have killed all of the Jews in the world, but I left a few so that you would know why I killed them”

Other examples included school exercises where a student who identified a terrorist who killed Jews – and told the class what the terrorist had done – was rewarded with candy.

Perhaps the governments of Britain and France should threaten the same diplomatic retaliation against the Palestinian Authority over this incitement as they do against Israel.

Netanyahu said the failure of the Palestinians to accept Israel’s existence within any border is the “root of the conflict.”

Bibi is too smart to actually believe that. Expediency likely confined him. I’m not so confined.

The ROOT of this conflict and so many others across the globe, wherever Muslims are found, is the ideology of ISLAM.

That ideology demands that its adherents thrust Islam upon the world. Whether they want it or not, explaining why Muslims are constantly waging war. But 80% of the world has said NO to Islam. But to Muslims that answer is unacceptable, leading of course to more Islamic war and violence.

In this regard Jews are singled out for a simple reason. They were the first to reject Islam and Mohammed. And Mohammed and his followers did not then (and do not today) take rejection well. Ergo, the Jews, according to Islam’s holy texts, became the worst of peoples, a sentiment echoed day after day in mosques throughout the world.

John Adams, Thos. Jefferson and Churchill all recognized the irrationality of Islam. Why don’t today’s leaders?

from Churchill’s River Wars (1899): How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the faith: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

Here, let me fix your essay.

“The ROOT of this conflict and so many others across the globe, wherever Muslims are found, is the ideology of ISLAMists.”

Everything you said is true about the Islamists. And, the current generation of Islamist fascists are engaged in an advertising campaign to convince Muslims that they have an individual, religious duty to murder every Jew on the face of the earth and re-conquer every square inch of land ever held by a Muslim regime.

Real Muslim scholars, from the real Muslim schools, say something else: they acknowledge that they have the same law as the Jews.

They know that, when Jesus Christ gave his famous Sermon on the Mount and said that there are really only two Commandments, namely “Love God” and “Love your neighbor,” he wasn’t saying anything new, he was quoting from the Torah.

Last Christmas, The American Muslim republished a few articles by some of these individuals.

You probably didn’t read anything about most of these, because MSM has ignored these voices. I recall when a local mosque in Columbia, Maryland wrote to the Washington Post on the subject, and got a whole TWO COLUMN INCHES in the local section of the paper. The Post didn’t even bother to put them on the editorial page, or publish the whole letter.

This was at a time when lots of people online were wondering aloud why they didn’t hear from “moderate” Muslims on the topic.

I only ran across it by chance, because I was looking for something else.

Our MSM doesn’t want you to know that we do indeed have friends among the followers of Islam. Of course, there is the inconvenient fact that the current crop of White House “Muslim” advisors are Islamist sympathizers who have been called out for their hypocrisy by other Muslims…..

In the Palestinian context, some of the worst terrorists, like George Habash, were Christian. It is true that currently Islamists are the main problem, but it goes beyond that.

I don’t think that in his case Christianity came into the picture because if we look at the behaviour of the Vatican’s rep., in Lebanon, Hilarion Capucci, transporting arms in his official car from Lebanon, across Israel to the West Bank and the PLO even as Arafat’s thugs were massacring Christians in the town of Damour for example in 1976,, and the Vatican’s temper tantrum when the Israelis caught him, we must come to the conclusion that it was siding with the Arabs as the British did before and during the second world war.
An even later example was Tutu and his Palestinian comrade in Anglican theology Naim Ateek who sacrificed Palestinian Christians, in the West Bank, by coming to the political “defense” of Arafat and his thugs against Israel during the earlier part of the century.

The problem is not his Christianity. The problem is that Christocentric theology was replaced by liberation theology. Sometimes, even in those with a Christocentric theology, anti-Semitism is alive and well. Then the problem is a teaching that must be rooted out and burnt because it cannot be substantiated by reference to Scripture.

I didn’t know that Dr.George Habash, founder-leader of the hugely radical PFLP, was Christian! I’ll be damned, Professor, I’ve got some reading to do, looks like.

The Church is very guilty in this matter and should do a lot of repentance. The Eastern Church is so Islamicized and culture obsessed that it has bought, swallowed whole, and perpetuates the Muslim lies concerning the Jews. How many times have we heard that it is the Jews who are responsible for the diminishing Christian population in Bethlehem and other places. It wasn’t Jews who defecated on the altar of the church of the Nativity. It was Muslims. Yet, the Church failed to stand for the truth and gave the Muslims a pass. Such a weak Eastern Church has done more to harm relations between Christians and Jews even as the Arab Christians seek out Israel as a refuge.

The Western Church has a different problem. It bought into the liberal narratives of the Left and forgot its mission to preach and teach the gospel of Christ crucified. Instead, they taught liberation theology and made common cause with socialists and Islamists. The Western Church’s embrace of Islam’s “oppressed” is a result of the loss knowing who we are and Whose we are. In losing Christ, the Western Church has lost discernment, the ability to know and do what is right.

What remains is the Evangelicals, most of whom reject Islam and the lying narrative it espouses, and embrace Israel and the Jews as the rightful heirs and inhabitants of the Land. A Church that does not know who it is and Whose it is does not begin to comprehend that the rejection of Israel and the Jews is the rejection of the Church itself.

Dear, Valerie, Islam itself sucks. Look at how life is in muslim communities and countries all over the world. Would you choose to live in a muslim country or community such as Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Gaza etc? Truly, I would not want to live in Gaza where the community wastes so much time drenched in the hatred of Jews. They are sick. Would you like to be a muslim woman anywhere? Even in the US muslim women are less free than other women because their male relatives want them to wear hijab and not to date. If you are not free to choose what you wear or who you associate with you are not free. If you cannot choose your spouse, you are not free.

    You have posited two errors.
The first is that the “essay” you are intending to correct is a direct quote of a publication of Winston Churchill’s “River Wars” published in 1899. It is not possible to “correct” a quote which accurately quotes the source material. You may refute it, you may renounce it, you may vilify it … but unless it was incorrectly quoted, you may not correct it.
The second error is a failure to account for the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya. In failing to discern a doctrine which promotes deception of one’s potential adversary until it is advantageous to subsume that adversary, you are supporting the very philosophy which seeks to enslave you.
There is no common ground between Islam, Judaism & Christianity. Islam claims names of historic personalities while subverting the character & historic activities of such. This creates a foundation upon historic fiction of no more value than gothic romances.
There is no substantial common practice between rabbinic Judaism & Christianity (though both have their roots in Abrahamic covenantalism & instruction from Mosaic covenantalism. It is the fallacy of philosophic subterfuge, subjugation & subsummation which has redefined “faith” as “whatever one believes” & equated all beliefs while blurring the distinctions between each which has become the foundation of “common ground” ecumenicism.

You are wrong and PFG is right. People talk about Islamism as though it were something different from Islam. It is not. It is Islam just as it is in the koran and hadiths. Talking about Islamism is like talking about the moderate Muslim. There is no such person. What there is is a Muslim who is imagining he belongs to an ideology different from what it actually is. Yet, he will not reject the cries of the so-called minority because he knows that what they say and do is because they believe the koran and hadiths as they are. Thus, if he does not adhere to the tenets of Islam, he is an apostate subject to death. That is why no “moderate Muslim” will stand against terrorism because he knows it is approved by Islam’s laws, and to speak out against anything is to attack Islam.

Islam is a political ideology masquerading as a religion, respecting only the Ummah, the community of Muslims wherever they are, heeding no law but that found in the koran and hadith even as its adherents pay lip service to the laws of many nations only for a time because they are there to conquer, not to assimilate.

So, let’s not muddy the waters with absurd talk about “Islamism”. It doesn’t exist.

No, you didn’t ‘fix’ his essay.
You only made it politically correct.
With regard to the Jews Islam has had an ongoing hatred for the past 1400 years.

One more thing, Valerie, you entertain the illusion that we have Muslim friends. I do not because Islam teaches Muslims that they shall not be friends with other than Muslims. Islam teaches them to lie to you without worry about sin because you do not belong to Islam, to give the appearance of friendship without its reality.

There was a Jewish guy from TX who thought the Muslim he’d known since childhood was his friend. The Jewish guy ended up with an extra wide smile some inches below his chin because the Muslim “friend” began to take his ideology seriously and followed its tenet to kill the Jew.

Lying is not permitted to Jews and Christians, not to anybody, because our God hates it. So, the Jewish guy never expected his “friend” to cut his throat.

I feed Muslims with a long spoon. No friendship.
