[…] Obama won.  America lost.  America deserves better than this media mollycoddled divisive passive-aggressive child politician. […]

“It’s already written that today will be one to remember
The feeling’s the same as being outside of the law
Had to cry today
Well, I saw your sign and I missed you there”

Ever have a song you can’t get out of your head 🙂

Do you believe the democrat razor-sharp victories margins were the result of massive voter fraud efforts by the left, the democrats and the Obama campaign?

I do.

Our collective idiocy in allowing “no voter ID” along with blatant democrat corruption at the polls cost us our nation, and our futures and our freedom.

Bit by bit, drop by drop — we will now become Venezuela.

Okay. Well. I think we need to face up to the fact that this is all George Bush’s fault.

You always knock me out, Branco. Thanks!

    Thank you L

    LukeHandCool,

I liked you better when I thought that was a photo of you, but, I guess its your wife or girlfriend (even though I am married).

But, having just realized that Alan Grayson won, Jon Tester won, and Allen West lost, I guess I am willing to Scissor for Sheldon.

Can we arrange a time and place to “hook up?”

      Jack,

You’re a nice guy … really, you are … and so, because I cherish our friendship so very, very, much, I wouldn’t dare to risk losing you as a dear friend because of some emotionally complicated physical relationship. That’s how much I care about you.

Actually, that’s my daughter, who will be on billboards in Manila starting next week.

LukeHandCool (who would’ve made a fetching lady, not least because of his talent in deflecting unwanted advances)

Well, at least she won’t be wearing a chastity belt, and, might even get free prophylactics.

Appreciate you letting me down gently.

It was never really personal, just trying to figure out how to proceed and forge ahead in which the meritorious (Romney, Allen West) get dumped and folks like Elizabeth Warren, Alan Grayson, etc. get ahead.

I’ve never tried heroin, but I hear heroin, being a kind of opiate or something, suppresses nausea. I guess I can try to go score a bag and see if Gloria Allred would be up for scissoring.

Thanks Branco, just so very desriptive…

Well, this is the LAST time I will take investment advice from the people who post comments on Huffington Post and The Nation.

I was confident that Romney/Ryan would win and so I did a 120% cash-out refi mortgage last week and invested those proceeds in a company that dominates the chastity belt market.

Now, my family and I are facing financial ruin, unless the chastity belt company gets a bailout.

Jack The Ripper | November 7, 2012 at 12:04 pm

I have been right about everything so far, except my prediction that Romney/Ryan would get 280 electoral votes.

To make up for that, let me make the following prediction:

For the next two years, all political news headlines will feature one of the following

1) Obstructionist Republicans in Congress

2) Americans still racist

3) The Wealthy X, Y or Z

This cartoon is wrongheaded and counterproductive. It keeps us in denial about our deficiencies. We don’t even know what those deficiencies are and we won’t figure it out if we stay in denial.

I remember the smugness before the SCOTUS decision on Obamacare.

I remember, from just two days ago, the arrogant confidence and derision about the polls, betting odds, and prediction markets. I remember the airy predictions of a blowout victory.

Jim Hoft got a key point:

Republican Turnout in 2012 Less than 2008 and 2004

Raquel recently warned us that we’re living in a cocoon.

Look at the Presidency. Look at the Senate. Look at the string of defeats in Operation Counterweight.

Then look at the reactions on this board, including the cartoon in this post. Outlandish denial; blaming everyone and everything except ourselves. Our reaction to the election bodes worse for the future than the election results themselves. Hopefully rationality will begin to assert itself.

The House handily stayed Republican and the GOP has a record number of governors. The Senate and White House were debacles. Why the contrast?

This clip sums up the day rather well…

And thanks to all the LI folks for doing a fabulous job.

In Memoriam…

The UNITED STATES of AMERICA
Born: 04 JUL 1776
Died: 06 NOV 2012

Epitaph:
Many will fondly remember the USA as the finest example of of a collection of free, independent and largely self-reliant people which led the “free” world for many, many decades and set a shining example of the greatness that man could achieve in the arts, in science, in governance, in literature, in commerce, in leadership and in many other qualities essential to a prosperous, fulfilling, useful and harmonious existence for all mankind. Through ignorance, greed, sloth, deceit, lies and the basest instincts of man, spurred on by a vile, hate-filled, combative, disruptive socialist extremist ideology, all that was good and great in America was destroyed and, ultimately, killed. For those of us who knew the greatness of America, that greatness will live in our hearts and minds forever. For those who never knew or understood that greatness, civilized people will feel immense sorry for you.

America – may she Rest in Peace.

I know one person who thinks our country died 4 years ago and I didn’t believe this person and I hope that our country isn’t dead yet but just in a drunken stupor that hopefully we will wake up from.

Jack The Ripper | November 7, 2012 at 2:09 pm

Okay. Time for some fun, albeit gruesome fun.

You know the game K F M?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz
Elizabeth Warren
Gloria Allred

Go!

well done.
so very true.
and so very sad.

Be of good cheer. Nearly half the country voted for independence, freedom, and the constitution and are still conservative. We do have our work cut out for us… Not to “capitulate” but to “educate” the other half.
