So let’s condemn Israel for defending itself against missile attacks from Gaza.
More than 40,000 people have been killed in 20 months of conflict between Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces and those fighting for his overthrow, a violence monitoring group said on Friday.
Rami Abdelrahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said about half the fatalities were civilians and the other half split about evenly between rebels and government soldiers.
“The figure is likely much higher as the rebels and the government lie about how many of their forces have died to make it look like they are winning,” Abdelrahman told Reuters

We are fast learning that the best way to go from being label a terrorist organization to become an equal at the negotiating table and an accepted entity in the world community – well, at the U.N. for starters – is to simply lob rockets at Israel. This so called “cease fire” between Hamas and Israel (to me) is the worse possible action.
Had Israel prevailed and cleaned up Gaza, there would be a strong example of the fate that awaited other miscreants in the area such as Syria and southern Lebanon.

The rockets haven’t stopped and a riot and shooting occurred at the Gaza border today when hundreds of Islamists tried to cross the border into Israel.
There can be no peace/truce/agreement with evildoers.
Syria is just a typical Intra-Islamic tribal power struggle and has no moral equivalency to the Gaza conflict.
Israel is stuck in a Psalm 83 (in the King James version) scenario with the Philistines/Assyria/Babylon all against her.

there are 500 reported deaths per 100,000 cars in Syria & thisis an under report.

I suspect the numbers of victims killed in actual fighting is minimal. I would be interested in knowing how the majority of the country is faring . it seems to be holding up .
